We ordered a Family Bundle for Christmas Eve back on 12/18. We arrived at our scheduled pickup time (@ 4pm) on 12/24 and there were people already waiting at the front desk area and with no Max’s employee to be found. I saw the waiter helping the couple of tables of families before we even saw a host/hostess. We were never greeted by a worker.
After about 20 minutes of waiting we had to stop one of the people running around to ask about our meal and it was apparent that they were overwhelmed. After telling them we were there to pickup our prepaid order they then asked us what we ordered. Shouldn’t you as the food establishment know what was ordered? What do you mean, what did we order?! It was at this point that it was apparent that our food was not ready. Little did we know that it was not even started. After over an hour of waiting we still had to track down a worker to ask about our 4pm pickup order. At this point it was well over 5pm (5:20pm) and we still did not have our order.
This was by far the worst restaurant/food experience that I can recall in a very long time. Extremely disappointed and I feel sorry for the workers. They were not prepared for what they had to deal with that day and for that I blame their management and lack of support. This was a terrible terrible experience.

5 Stars – Outstanding Service by Rosanna!
I had an incredible dining experience at Max’s, thanks to the exceptional service from Rosanna. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with a warm smile and genuine hospitality that made us feel immediately welcome. Throughout our meal, Rosanna was attentive without being intrusive—she anticipated our needs, offered great recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Ordered Chop Suey and Lechon Kawali Sigig and it was SO delicious. Also, great portion sizes. We’ll have plenty of leftovers to take home. We’ll be back again for sure!

Delicious pancit. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly as were other employees. The place is huge, great for huge groups as well as singles. I’m looking forward to visiting again and trying the chicken!

Max’s sizzling tofu was unlike anything I have ever had and it was delicious. My companions, who don’t typically like tofu, tried and liked it as well.
The restaurant itself is very nice and decorated well. The staff was kind and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more.

I’ve wanted to come here for quite a while because I’ve never had Filipino food before and wanted to give it a try. The main problem is they don’t have enough people working at the restaurant; we stood at the front area waiting for someone to seat us for five minutes. We were about to leave when someone finally came out from the back (after I ran the bell, which felt very weird).
We ordered right away, and the food came out in a reasonable time. The chicken was definitely crispy and cooked perfectly (delicious skin!). It was tasty, but very plain as it had no added flavour. We tried the banana ketchup + Worcestershire sauce + hot sauce mix. It wasn’t a great flavour because the banana ketchup is so overpowering. It’s a good-sized chicken, but 12 french fries, some of them half-sized? Really? Potatoes are cheap, and for $21 you’d think you’d get more.
We finished up and waited to pay, but no one ever came back. I had to go find someone and was the same overworked lady who seated us. They don’t have tap to pay either, which is surprising in the year 2024.
Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, and we won’t be back again.

Max’s has been my go to restaurant especially the branch they have in Los Angeles California. For some reason, this branch in Tukwila Washington is far different in a bad way. I ordered food online around 0900 today to be picked up at 11:30am today, I arrived on time in the restaurant, I waited for more than an hour to receive WRONG AND MISSING ORDERS. I complained but I was completely ignored by the staff. It is very heart breaking. I would like to be refunded. On top of that, I added 22% tip when I ordered online thinking the service would be excellent as what I have experienced from other branches. However, I will never come to this branch ever again. I attached pictures of what I ordered and what I actually received. Also, it was not only me who was frustrated but also a bunch of people who ordered online and waited for hours to be called.

Me and my husband dined here last night. It was my husbands first time to try this place and was excited for him. The food will always be amazing. We had some chicken and lumpia. We were able to sit right away. However, the server which was the old man, was terrible. First, he didn’t even asked us if we were ready to order. He just looked back and said “ay oorder na kayo?” Second of all, just because I can speak the language doesn’t mean you stop speaking English. My husband wanted to order but he never looked into my husband (mind you my husband does not understand tagalog) so that was very RUDE. Thirdly, he never checked on us to see if we needed anything else. Whichever restaurant you go to, servers do go around to ask and check back on their customers. Lastly, he never smiled. We get it, it’s like 7 pm and you are probably tired but that doesn’t mean you start being a grump and have the look on your face like you are pissed.
Will we ever come back for the food? Yes. But maybe train your servers more to be hospitable.
