Stopped by for a late breffus,
Eggs cooked as requested and coffee was good. When my food was ready, a new cup of coffee was given to me at the same time. I was impressed.

Went to Joshua’s for the watch party (go Hawks). The bar was packed but made room for 1 more. The waitress recommended the club sandwich and fries which were awesome. The Mac and Jack was spot on tap! They had great giveaways, bingo, specials and were super welcoming to this outsider. Even the owners came by to welcome me. I’ll definitely travel out of my way to come back to this spot. Save my seat at the bar, Kathy! I’ll see you next trip!

We came on New Year’s day. Nice place to get dinner, but service was bad. Someone placed us at a table immediately, but our server forgot about us completely and did not even bring us water until someone else noticed and did. When ordering, the server was not very friendly and made me uncomfortable of asking questions even though it was my husband and I’s first time there. When we ordered, she didn’t even care to clarify how things work.
I got the fish and chips and my husband got the Joshua burger, I think. He got the clam chowder as a side, but we actually had to pay extra for it. According to the menu, it says it’s included, but I guess not. I will say the clam chowder was delicious though.
We also asked for ketchup for the fries and lemon for our water, and they forgot about it. She eventually remembered to bring our ketchup, so there’s that.
I’ll try other places before going back here when I visit Port Angeles next time.

I went with my mom and we got their DELICIOUS clam chowder. We ordered and were served so quickly. They have live music some nights so that can be fun to listen:)
We also had their fried pickle spears and they were delightful! The owner came and talked with us and was very kind!!

my dad and I stayed at the super 8 next door coming through town and decided why not go here for dinner since its right nextdoor. i had the patty melt and my dad had a steak. the patty melt was fine but my dads steak was half fat and the gravy on his mashed potatoes was too salty to even eat. and the service was eh, the waitress could’ve been a little more attentive. we came in the next day for breakfast to see if they could redeem themselves and… nope. my dad got an omelette and I got the chicken fried steak. the omelette was fine but the chicken fried steak was way too chewy to even enjoy and on top of that it took like 30 minutes for our food to come out with no explanation or remorse from the waitress on why it took so long. the main takeaway I got from here: avoid any steak.

Edit in response to the response from the owner; what does the amount of one star reviews I’ve given to other businesses have to do with anything? Did you actually read what I had to say about those other businesses before making an assumption about me? Also all the one star reviews I’ve given to businesses in PA werent “recent” since if you did indeed bother to read my reviews you would have seen they’re very much spaced out with months in between. Btw idk how you’d expect a record of someone under a fake name with an anime pfp but okay Bringing the five star on service down to a one because of that response
But hey if you would like more detail; I came in with my husband a couple Sundays ago. I got the French dip while he got the turkey dinner. His turkey was dry, potatoes were bland and lumpy, the only good thing on his plate were the cooked veggies. Meanwhile ky French dip was so tasteless and bland I couldn’t even finish it. And I love French dip.
I’m staying at the super 8 hotel and the fact that I can’t get a real breakfast here because of some ridiculous agreement this place has with Joshua’s to not serve breakfast when the food at Joshua’s isn’t even good honestly pisses me off. But hey, thanks to staying at the hotel at least I can get a discount on my bland, tasteless meal

So I don’t want to deter anyone from the food food here, but the ambience and service here are horrible, walk in stood there waited a while to be acknowledged by an elderly lady with her back to us finally sat us for our food in and then nag us about the coke slaw no we didn’t eat the coke slaw, no we didn’t even try it. We do not enjoy cole slaw Karen. Not a friendly server not a very good server, the place itself is very cafateriaish no identity or flare. How ever the food was delicious, good perfect served hot I was relieved to be eating such a good plate of food after my experience up to I hopemthismplave modernizes a little looses the dinosaurs and gets some fresh blood in there this foods to good to waste on bad services and boring decor.
