I stopped at the Historian just to get a quick refreshment, but I was impressed by the place. It has a stylish atmosphere and talented, friendly bartenders. I decided to give their espresso martini a try since I’ve always wanted to like the drink and had poor experiences before. Their espresso martini was smooth with a hint of cocoa, and it was probably the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. It was very refreshing. If you’re looking for cocktails, I don’t think you can go wrong with the Historian.

I want to like this place more, but after four visits, it’s mid. The menu is all over the place, Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, American….and not all executed well. Too large of a spread for everything to be tasty, especially for the prices. Cocktails are good, wine list is decent. But, please get your waitstaff out of yoga pants! Athleisure dumbs it all down.

Staff is so friendly, greeting every customer as they enter and placing them getting us started right off. This location is pretty new. fancy. But not scary fancy. There is a huge selection of refreshments. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for something more than your burger- fry- beer- after beach day snack.
