The food here is grand! The chicken is exceptionally juicy and flavorful—my son and I were thoroughly impressed. It is clear that a lot of pride goes into the preparation. Definitely a top-tier spot for a meal in Pittsburgh.
The service style is very direct and incredibly efficient. Even when the shop isn’t busy, the staff keeps things short and to the point. I respect the “no-nonsense” approach because it shows they are focused on the quality of the food and getting it to the customer quickly.

I got the chicken and waffles, fries and cheese curds. My fiance got the chicken tenders and fries. Out of this world good! From out of town, was looking for something tasty and affordable. Well worth it!

First of all, I would like to declare I AM NOT A BOT. Now, to the point: me, my dad, and my brother went here to spend some time and enjoy ourselves. Me and my brother got chicken wings and waffle fries while my dad got the mad chipotle sandwich. This is definitely one of the better fried chicken places. The employees were very nice and helpful, and the food and dips were definitely top tier and genuinely tasted very good! The music also makes for a nice atmosphere. My only small complaint is that the tables weren’t cleaned that well, and the downstairs where you go to the bathroom gives me weird vibes. Other than that, I really liked this place and definitely would go to it again.

I can not lie. I used to order from this place everyday for years. Recently been a total let down. The food is garbage. They 100% don’t serve it fresh. Everytime I get back to my house. 7min drive m. The fries are rock hard and the chicken is nothing but chewy rubber. Don’t forget they charge extra for sauce now but can’t even put a reasonable amount of sauce the meal it’s self. I have been trying to give this place the benefit of the doudt recently but they have gone down hill. My last time wasting hard earned money this place man what a shame. Hopefully they can figure it out. I used to get excited to eat from here. Chicken stuck to hard fries that must’ve been sitting on the oven waiting to be served instead of wasted. Almost seem like a joke. People went to make money in this economy but cannot serve a fresh meal.

Horrible service, ordered one single order of fries because I was starving and it still wasn’t out in almost twenty minutes. I had to literally walk out without my food because it took so long I was going to miss my bus. If you’re going to start a fast food business maybe make sure you’re actually being fast about it. I also called twice to try to get a refund and nobody would answer the phone. Poorly run and horrible service. Food looked subpar at best.

I ordered the Chicken Madness sandwich, and it was, unfortunately, the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. The chicken was partially crispy and smelled off, the lettuce didn’t look fresh, and the tomato and pickle seemed borderline spoiled. The quality of the ingredients was unacceptable and raised concerns about food safety. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering it again. Very disappointing!

This was our first time trying Mad Chicken. Friendly staff was happy to answer questions. We had traditional wings tossed in their mad sauce. Wings were good but on the small side. The sauce was a little sweet and just a little spicy. We also got jalapeno poppers. Tastes like the frozen grocery store variety but not bad for the price.

Awesome food, the guys who run the place are very caring and take their jobs seriously. I’ve had the chicken tenders before but this time I got the mad fries with a chicken biscuit and everything was fantastic. The biscuit was buttery and flaky, the fries were crisp, and the chicken was so so tasty. Definitely recommend this place and for a late night snack, you won’t find something better.

Completely HIT or MISS. Food is solid, but that’s it. I ordered the same thing several times a week and got so many different experiences. From the teens and young people treating the establishment as some sort of hang out spot late night, doing nothing than being loud obnoxious, to the staff not being professional or even consistent. The food IS GOOD but being a customer since their inception, I’m telling don’t go after dark, in the very least.
I went there 3 times this weeks and asked for the same thing. A chicken biscuit, ADD CHEESE.
1st AND 2nd time no problem, i got shredded mixed cheese or cheddar cheese on the biscuit added
2. next day new balding guy ells me its not possible despite doing it 2 daYS IN A ROW PRIOR. II dismiss it and move on
3. I go tonight on “light uo night”. New face tells me theres no option on the screen to add cheese so its just not an option DESPITE all my dealings PRIOR
4. I asked to speak with a different staff to explain the situation and get clarity on the ENTIRE situation and she was unwilling to engage diplomatically
5. acted as if her say so was THE END ALL OF CONVERSATION ITSELF
6. I had a couple good experiences here and it was all about good food and convenience, i was bullied into hating this place.
7. When In asked for her NAME to report her to MGT. she told me VERBATIM “I DON’T NEED TO KNOW THAT”. I don’t care how good may be, the vibe ain’t worth it.
