What a sad excuse for a sandwich. This place was good when they first opened , I dont know what happened. Little meat and the sharp provolone cut thick like it was being cubed for a cheese tray

Ordered 2 sandwiches yesterday, the Johnny Fontane and Mizzoni’s Magic. I took 2 bites of the Johnny Fontane and put the sandwich down for 10 seconds and A LIVE BUG CRAWLED OUT OF THE SANDWICH. Killed the bug and instantly threw both sandwiches out. Will NEVER order from this dirty disgusting place again.

If you are local to Gio’s it’s literally a no brainer to go there for all your Italian deli/marketing needs. Yesterday me and my wife got fresh subs made with literally the best cold cuts and bonded together on one of the BEST rolls we ever had. We 10/10 loved it perfect spot to grab your subs before you go onto your boat for summer ☀️ .

Ps. The potatoes and fresh mozzarella was from the day before because we went there to grab just a roll to make cheese steaks on. Let me tell you the season potatoes were literally the best. The Fresh mozzarella is made daily will definitely be back once a week .

New to the area and decided to try this spot last weekend. Between the caring service and quality food I’ll definitely be back. The shrimp scampi and calamari fra diavlo specifically were excellent. Worth a visit!

Stopped in to get Italian bread
They make their own bread . Just like supermarket brand . No flavor , no texture
Their bags is just a generic bag, so they don’t get a quality bread from a Bakery.
Trying to make profit, it will put them out of business. 6 months from now there will be a for RENT sign.

Why are your subs so expensive? $10 more than anyplace else. To your response…. you may want to take a look at literally EVERY OTHER deli’s prices in the area. They also have good meats and nice sized subs, and you can get a whole for same price or a couple dollars more than your half. You’re even higher than Jersey Mikes, which is extremely pricey. I can go to the diner, and get a full meal, soup salad stuffed flounder dinner with potato vegetable and bread, cheaper than your whole sub. So yes, I stand by my first comment.

Recently visited for my first time. The turkey sub the man made for me was spectacular. Italian bread with sesame seeds, the fresh cut turkey, and olive oil vinegar. Just delicious.
