My Disappointing Experience at Chipotle

I recently had one of the worst customer service experiences at Chipotle, and it was truly disappointing. When I arrived, I discovered they were out of several key ingredients, yet there was no effort to inform customers ahead of time. To make matters worse, they still charged full price for meals, despite being out of almost half the ingredients.

When I brought up my concerns, the manager, Brian, showed no willingness to address the situation or make it right. As a customer, I expect transparency and fairness. If you’re out of food, at least let people know before they wait in line, and certainly adjust the price accordingly.

The lack of communication, along with Brian’s dismissive attitude, was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. This experience has left me questioning whether I’ll ever return to Chipotle. They need to do better.

Today’s experience was a mixed bag.
Ordered chicken burrito bowl and veg burrito bowl through app for chipotlane pick up!

It was ready by the time I got to location.

Chicken burrito bowl had barely any chicken. Veg burrito bowl was good.

In hindsight I should have read the reviews before ordering here

I’ve been going to this location since it’s opened and they’ve really just given up it seams. I had a lady yell at me because I wanted more guac (they skimped). The lady’s on the line are nice but don’t know how to roll a burrito and skimp on literally every single portion. I have to constantly ask for more. My double chicken burrito was a negotiation to get the normal serving size and it was brutally assaulted by the lady who rolled it.
I eat chipotle weekly like many repeat customers, please do better.

Very poor experience at this location.

The bowl was served with small portions — more like tiny scoops than the standard serving you expect when paying full price. When I asked if the portions could be adjusted to match normal standards, the staff responded unprofessionally and appeared to make fun of the request instead of resolving it.

This is not about asking for extra food; it’s about receiving the reasonable portion that is advertised and normally provided. Combined with the dismissive attitude, the service was unacceptable.

Management needs to address both the inconsistent portion sizes and the lack of basic customer respect. I will not be returning.

Updated Post:
We’ve been back twice now since my original review, and the portions are much more generous. Two full scoops of rice and a full scoop of protein instead of half a spoonful. It’s a welcoming change to receive a full portion. Thank you!

Previous post:
The portions are ridiculously small for the price. $56.40 for 4 very scimpy burrito bowls. If you’re going to rip off the customer in plain sight at least get smaller bowls so it doesn’t look so obvious. We will not be back.

This was by far the skimpiest portion of food being served. They are giving adults children portions. I ordered a burrito bowl and idk what’s going on. Much smaller portions than usual. Not much bang for your buck. Don’t come here if you’re hungry. You’ll need to order multiple items to feed yourself as an adult.

came in today around 6:55 PM, and the brown-skinned girl with braids who was checking me out was extremely rude and passive-aggressive. Her attitude was unprofessional and came across as demanding and dismissive. If she doesn’t want to work or treat customers with respect, something needs to be addressed — that kind of behavior is unacceptable.

The food from here is not fresh. For starters the guacamole served was brown and tasted sour. I also got some of the worst food poisoning of my life eating the Al Pastor chicken. It has been 18 hours almost since I ate it and I am still recovering. Save yourself the pain and go to literally any other Chipotle in McKinney.
