Drift is a cute little coffee shop right on Main Street in Benicia—perfect for a casual stop. The menu is pretty straightforward with the basics, but everything we tried was done well.
We ordered the almond croissant, apricot croissant, and a hot chocolate. The croissants were fresh, flaky, and exactly how a good croissant should be. The hot chocolate hit the spot too, especially on a busy morning.
Despite the crowd, service was impressively fast and efficient, which we really appreciated. Nothing overly fancy here—just solid coffee and pastries in a nice location. We’ll definitely stop by again the next time we’re in the area.

Loved it here! Coffee is great. We got the Chorizo Avocado Toast which I loved. Monica and Ryan are great host. They make the coffee sport feel like home. They have so much pride in their buisness and it shows. Looking forward to trying out the pizza on our next trip.

The food was good and tasty. I like the location, right on 1st street and near the water front. The drinks were good too. But only problem is it’s a bit pricey. It’s good but this may have to be one of those once in a blue moon or special occasions. We’re talking two slices of pizza, a pastry and to drinks for $50. You definitely get quality here. So if you don’t mind the price go for it. You’ll enjoy the food.

Greek yogurt granola fruit cup $7.55 was the perfect breakfast. Great espresso. The Wednesday morning staff lady was alone but served everything super fast, taking orders, taking payments, and preparing drinks and food. She does an incredible job.

It was my first time here, and I had an iced vanilla latte — it was really delicious. The sweetness was just right, not too sweet. I got a cold chocolate milk for my son, and he really liked it. The woman who worked there was nice and kind. I’d definitely go back again.

If you hate dogs, no need to read this review. If you like dogs, Then don’t visit this restaurant ever. My husband sat down with the dogs on the patio. The restaurant took his order. That would’ve been the time to tell him that he can’t be on the patio with dogs. Instead, they served him food and then came out and screamed at him and cursed at him because he had dogs on the patio. We will never ever visit this restaurant again. And right now we’re at the One House bakery, having a delicious meal and enjoying it while our dogs are with us on the outside veranda.

My Iced Breve Mocha was yummy! They use Mr. Espresso and serve them in cute soda can shaped glasses with glass straws. They have yummy pizzas made with foccacia bread. Today, I tried a slice of the Margherita Pizza. It’s so nice that they cut the slices in half for you. Makes it easy to share, or to save for later. For me, half a slice is already filling. Great customer service. They have takeout containers available, in case you didn’t finish your food while dining in. And, if you didn’t get to finish your iced drink, they’ll provide a plastic cup with ice, so you can take the rest of your drink to go. Love that!

Gosh, this focaccia pizza is amazing!
Loved the prosciutto arugula the best. But there all good.
Fluffy, fresh and satisfying.
Also, if you love cappuccino and actually wanna drink it hot unlike other places, this place makes it great!
Ps: the new avocado bacon is so tasty too!

Had a nice chat with Ryan, the owner, about his roots in Vallejo and work in Napa Valley. Great guy. Great coffee. Great shop. I’d be a regular if I lived here.
