I thoroughly enjoyed my visit because of the phenomenal service. I had some work to get done on my laptop and my servers were so accommodating. They checked on me, reworked my table setting when delivering my food, and offered recommendations. The wings were fried to perfection and absolutely delicious. I will say it is on the pricey side but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a hotel. Not to mention the place is gorgeous.

We made a reservation for a group of 10 for special event “bachelorette brunch” on a Sunday afternoon. the staffs were really accommodating, they went above and beyond to accommodate us.The place itself was aesthetically appealing. Food was well portioned for the price, and they provided exceptional service. Special shoutout to Armando and Horacio for making us feel really special. Will definitely recommend this place for a great time and value for money. Overall it was 10/10 for us.

Atmosphere of this restaurant looks good. The tables are pretty close to others.

Food is not so great and expensive. I got the salmon from the lunch menu and it was no seasoning but oily.

The service here is disappointing. We did two meals here during our stay and the waiters were just not patient enough to fully listen to what we wanted to order.

Convenient for hotel stay? Yes.
Worth it? No.

Great little hotel restaurant with very fast service, friendly staff, fresh food and a lot of options especially for breakfast. I ate here every day during our stay at the Hilton and really enjoyed their high quality meals. I can strongly recommend the Avocado Toast with eggs as you can see in my photos its super fresh and tastes amazing. The Casadia was also very good and the meal portion was huge so you can easily order it and share with someone else. Overall really recommend.

This place has a classy deco and upscale look. Food is good. Few options for vegetarians/vegans. Huge seating area inside and outdoors.
This place is inside Hilton hotel and attached to convention center. You have to park in convention center parking and don’t think they validate.
Was there on two different days. Service was very good on one day and very bad the next day although it was the same server. They do bring your food fast.

Service and atmosphere is great. Food was a little bit pricey, and available food was confusing. But then again I went during GTC so I can understand. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant.

Came for a 3 course Valentine’s Day dinner at Hilton’s new restaurant Secco.

LOCATION/PARKING: Secco is located inside of Hilton next to the San Jose convention center. I normally dread downtown restaurants because street parking, but parking was a breeze since they offer free validated parking in their Hilton garage. (Note, don’t confuse with the convention center garage which a separate from the hotel). The restaurant is located across from the check in desk. You will see a bar in the front and restaurant and host desk is located behind the bar.

AMBIANCE: the decor has been greatly updated since I last was at this hotel (think: Greek college formal days) The hotel/bar has upgraded a lot! We were seated right in the center of the restaurant in a lovely beautifully decorated booth. I walked in thinking I was on my honeymoon with rose petals decorated at the entrance. I see an oasis of plants hanging and I definitely felt some honeymoon tropical island vibes but we were indoors with sitting on cool modern furniture. I could not stop taking pics of everything! Every table was decorated with a mini vase with flowers and had a dim gold lamp for a romantic date night feel.

FOOD/DRINKS: at the bar, we ordered a hibiscus highball which was a little strong for my taste but the raspberry drink with Remy was delicious! (Sorry I forgot the name..something rumble) The 3 course meal came with 2 glasses of champagne which I thought paired great with the calamari and crab cakes ordered in addition. The calamari was tasty and went well with the chipotle dipping sauce. The crab cakes definitely hit the spot. I liked the sauces and the seaweed salad that came with it. The 1st course was the beet salad with goat cheese. The sweetness from the beets paired so well with the tartness of the goat cheese. 2nd course, I had the giant prawns and my hubby ordered the filet chateaubriand, which I learned is filet mignon but bigger. Which is fine by me! The prawns were huge and cooked perfectly! And the filet, cooked perfectly at medium, was my favorite. It was so juicy and the asparagus was so tasty. They even pumped mash potatoes to look like a flower!! Talk about presentation! So I ended stealing my husband’s entree instead! It’s okay he’s used to it! 🙂 I was soooo stuffed by the time dessert came. But I still made room..We had heart shaped white chocolate mouse with strawberries. The bottom layer has a crunch like I was biting into a yummy Ferrero rocher chocolate. Not picture was the delicious mocha to go with this last course. I was so satisfied and my belly was so happy at the end of this meal!

SERVICE: by far one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time. I definitely appreciated this experience. From our bartender to our server and hosts, everyone that helped us were polite and very knowledgeable when we asked questions. I especially felt very VIP! I felt very welcome and warm from the team. We learned a lot about this new establishment and understand it is hard opening a new restaurant in a doordash delivery post Covid where we don’t do go out much. So I encourage people to go out and try new experiences and definitely give Secco a try! I want to bring all my family back in the future!

Came here during resturaut week and ordered their fixed menu. Delicious! The watermelon salad was different but soo good! I really enjoyed the uniqueness and freshness on a hot summer day. The atmosphere was cute and relaxing. Cute decor with fake plants, cute set up, tables had flowers with a light. It was nice and quiet. My boyfriend and i have no kids and we like it quiet. The salmon dish was juicy and cooked to perfection. The dessert was a nice final touch!

Stopped in here for a meal before a show. Menu was fairly limited, at least as far as main courses go. The service was fairly good. The one glitch was the appetizer. We ordered the meatballs AS AN APPETIZER! But what comes first? My wife’s dinner salad. I explained to the server that we wanted our appetizer FIRST, which in my opinion is how it should be. They said the rest our food was “coming right out”. But ten minutes later here’s the rest of our food. Hardly “right out”. So, in the end I was annoyed (sorry if you think thats dumb). It can’t be THAT hard to time things coming out of the kitchen. Overall the food was good. Would I go back? Maybe. But if they pulled the same move with an appetizer I’d probably get up and walk out. Just how I roll.
