Teriyaki Tokyo inside the Burbank Mall was honestly one of the most disappointing food stops I’ve had in a while. The food was completely bland with absolutely no flavor, and to make things worse, the veggies were deep-fried in a heavy batter — which was surprising (and not in a good way) since the menu never mentioned it.
The sushi rice was extremely overcooked and hard, and the rolls themselves had a cheap-tasting texture. The spicy tuna in particular tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for a few days, with that stale, unpleasant bite you just can’t ignore.
Customer service wasn’t great either — most of the employees seemed uninterested, though I will say the one cashier was friendly and polite. That was the only bright spot in the whole visit.
If you’re at the Burbank Mall and craving something with actual flavor, I’d recommend walking to the next establishment. This place is not worth the time or money.

For mall food you can do worse.
Is the food bland? Sure, a little.
Do the employees care? No, not at all.
Are you subjected to babies crying and dogs barking as you try to eat your tempura? Yes, but you’re already at the mall anyway.
For like $13 you can get a very generous portion of chicken teriyaki. The flavor is not at all complex, but it’s salty and satisfying. You’re not gonna find yourself craving this, but don’t believe the other comments calling this an abomination. It’s totally passable mall Japanese.

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS
Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t give me a fork because I couldn’t provide a receipt, which I unfortunately had thrown away. The employee directed me to the sign that says they don’t give out utensils to non-customers. These “rules” are completely unacceptable in today’s society. If you can’t give out a fork even to non-customers you don’t deserve my money.

This has to be the most mid food I’ve ever tasted , I ordered beef udon, egg rolls. The egg rolls were cold and hard the udon was beyond nasty. Tge meat tastes like cafeteria lunch meat with a sweet sauce to hide the flavor worst 20$ spent would not recommend

The chicken and gyoza were decent, the rice lacked flavor, the noodles were awful and the veggies were the only decent thing and it was a shame because there were barely any veggies on the plate. Even though the noodles were bad my boyfriend ate his plate in 2 seconds, hungry headass boi

The food was great, service was great . however one of the workers up front was causing a disturbance while I was ordering my food , not professional AT ALL I asked if everything was ok and cashier just apologized. Even thought the cashier apologized I still find it unacceptable that this altercation even happened in the first place. It was really embarrassing to watch and I hope that no ones is fired or blamed but hope that the co workers of the older lady can help try and be more polite.

Located in the Burbank mall. This place has a good food selection. Price not bad. Service good. Shrimp tempura has way to much batter. Barely a shrimp inside. Goyas are ok not my favorite. Sauces for the shrimp and goyas are tasty. I like this food joint better than some of the other ones in the mall. It’s mall food can’t expect allot.

Always eat here when I’m in Burbank. Teriyaki sauce by itself is so good. I don’t know how they make their veggies but they are fresh an crispy always.

Food taste amazing. The dish I ordered is pictured. Savory flavor and I’d have to agree with the last review that it’s definitely not the last time I’ll be at this location. The noodles are not to soft nor to hard. The vegetables taste fresh and the teriyaki sauce is great.
