Everything is really great! The highlights are the ones with “Kuro Nami” in their names. Also, the cocktails are really tasty. The ambience is nice and modern. The servers are very attentive and quick. We got full pretty quickly, so we didn’t get dessert, but next time, we will!

A friend recommended this place, and we’re glad we checked it out. We had a great meal, but I must say the sushi was the best part. It was so fresh and flavorful that it was hard to stop eating. Lol However, if I had to rate this place as a 5-star restaurant, I’m not entirely sure. The food is tasty, but the service is a bit slower at the time we were there and the staff kept forgetting things we asked.

Overall C: Akira roll, Hamachi, Gyoza, seaweed salad, ‘mocktails’ that are really glorified juice drinks; seated immediately on a warm fall evening. Appreciate the care and technique that goes into the dishes, but pretty sure we didn’t get what we ordered as the rolls did not include tempura. Environment clean, staff pleasant but service slow, perhaps as we were the furthest seated table around the outdoor patio, ontop of a busy waling path. Among the lowest rated of Marin sushi restaurants we’ve tried, so prolly not returning as even farther out Fairfax is better.

The reviews don’t lie, this place is fantastic. The fish was sooo fresh and generous. The rolls were delicious and well-portioned, and priced comparably to the other high-end places. Even though we called at the last minute, they squeezed us in with a quick turn time. The service was friendly and we all agree this is the best sushi in Marin.

We narrowly missed a 45 minute wait here last week for my birthday dinner. No problems sitting at the bar – service was quick and wonderful. The sushi here is incredibly fresh and thoughtfully designed. I loved the super nova roll and the ocean roll, my partner liked the special roll. We were offered the typical (complimentary) wasabi and the fresh wasabi. My partner said the fresh is much better and worth ordering. We found the prices here to be reasonable especially considering the quality. We can’t wait to go back!

My experience was very delightful, the customer service and food are top tier. My friend and I were in the mood for yellowtail and they did not disappoint. I think I can confidently say this is my favorite sushi spot in Marin. From the sashimi to nigiri to specialty rolls, and to the ramen. Everything is done to perfection.
The fresh fish will melt in your mouth, and the flavors will burst.
Cocktails are not to be missed either.

This is by far my favorite and the best Japanese sushi restaurant in Marin County. Just some Great food. Sushi was fresh and really good size for the price. Very fresh toro! The Kami Miso was just stand out. Highly recommend that dish. Good for two people.
Servers were attentive and gave great recommendations. Just down to earth great people. Monroe served us and was just great taking care of us and everything we needed.
