Laurel’s made some assorted dessert trays for my wedding and they turned out amazing! Great quality, great prices and everything was delicious! Our guests were thrilled and almost all of our desserts were eaten or taken home for later! The salted caramel frosting on the cupcakes was so good. Very responsive to messages and accommodating special requests. 10/10 highly recommend!

Wow! This is a gem with fantastic pastries that change up daily. There are homemade breads, muffins, scones, breakfast and lunch options and then a rotating selection of cakes, pastries and cookies. There’s basically no wrong choice here! Sit inside with a coffee or beverage or get it to go, just don’t wait or they will sell out. Highly recommend for breakfast, an early tea or take away. Friendly bakers and staff and cozy interior. Easily seats 1-2 at a table.

We stopped here after going to the showroom and I’m so glad we did! We got the bougasta, lemon roll, and blueberry cinnamon crumble bar. I’ve never had bougasta and it’s INCREDIBLE! My dad loved the lemon roll and and blueberry cinnamon crumble bars are perfect. There were so many options, there is something for everyone, definitely make the stop!

One of my favorite bakeries in midcoast Maine! Everything I have ever gotten from here has been amazing! Recently I ordered a birthday cake that needed to be sugar AND dairy free and Laurel nailed it! I couldn’t believe how delicious it was! We ordered Chocolate Peanut Butter (Chocolate cake peanut butter flavor frosting) it was perfect but Laurel said she could do any flavor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, you won’t be disappointed!

A truly wonderful place! Found this gem during our travels up the coast. The town itself is worth a visit. Yet, Laurel’s Dolce Vita is the crowning jewel. We arrived later in the day, which limited our selection, but the owners were great and lovely. We were able to scrounge up a raspberry scone + roll, blueberry cake, loaf of cheese bread, and almond chocolate cake bites which were a perfect balance between richness and flakiness. A must visit! (plan on coming back a 2nd time on our way back)

who doesn’t love a seriously good Italian bakery. Not me. I search for reasons to go to Thomaston now. This place is 100% legit. Great selections. Great coffee. And…the sweetest two people you’ll ever meet anywhere. If you don’t go here you’re gonna be sad…and we don’t want any sad people wishing they’d stopped in. A+.
