Wow! I only had 30 mins to make a decision and I decided to try Vito’s and I did not regret it one bit! Their garlic bread is beyond amazing! I ordered one slice of pepperoni pizza and one mushroom pizza. I was impressed! The crust was not overly thick and the crispy pizza was so flavorful!! I will definitely be back!

Really wanted to give this place five stars, but their marinara is noticeably sweet. It really took away from the flavor of everything. Did not like it with the Stromboli and did not like it in the vodka sauce. Everything was made with fresh ingredients. The Stromboli had a really nice crispy crust to it and lots of cheese on the inside tasted excellent. Loved it without the marinara. Chicken vodka pasta was sweet and just not very good because it was overly sweet. I feel like a broken record, but their marinara was sweet like barbecue sauce. Definitely recommend their stromboli without the sauce. Would probably steer clear of the pizza unless I got the white pizza due to the marinara sauce. Definitely family owned and quality ingredients, though.

As a person with Italian lineage I can tell you that this place is the real deal. When ever I go to an Italian joint the first thing I try is the meatball. If you can make a good meatball I know everything else will be good.

The meatball is very good, almost as good as ma’s meatballs. The sauce (gravy) , reminds me of Gloria’s pizzeria in NY.

I like the actual ball or half a ball, not the thin slices. Could also use an extra meatball or two

Probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Reminds me of my grandma’s pizza their garlic bread is definitely a must-try!
Great mom and pop’s atmosphere and service was very good

Love this place. Huge Strombolis!! Dough is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and it’s stuffed with fillings! Add green pepper, onion and black olive for the full experience! Server was fast and the staff is always so friendly.

They have the best garlic rolls in town! The food is always fresh and hot. Our favorite server is Bella, she always has a smile on her face and never messes up our order.

This place is the go to local Italian spot. The food is top shelf and the prices are sooo reasonable. All the girls that are waiting here are so sweet and nice. The guys cooking are some of the best in the business. They are well worth the extra trip for a quick bite to eat. Nothing but good vibes all around.

It’s a wonderful Mom and Pop style restaurant. It’s got great food, with the best pizza I’ve had in Jax. I’ve only been a handful of times but I’ve been recognized and greeted which is always nice! I count myself lucky because I work fairly close, but I’ve made the trip across the bridge from the Westside twice just for the food. I highly recommend the Pizza and Subs. The crust was crispy and just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. And the bread on the subs are homemade and you can really tell! I usually get takeout but it’s got a nice cozy interior. I especially love how quiet it is there I’ve eaten a few times in my car and just loved the peace and quiet. I will definitely become a regular here.

Nice local spot for Sicilian pizza. Pizza was great. Garlic knots were bathed in butter and it was all I could taste. Would have liked more garlic or herbs taste personally. Nice place if you’re looking for a local pizza spot.

Vito’s is a mandatory stop for our family! Every time we have relatives visiting from out of town, this is the first place they request for lunch. The pizza is consistently some of the best I’ve ever had, but we also love that they have a huge variety of other dishes that are just as good. Whether you’re a pizza purist or looking for something else, you can’t go wrong here. It’s a local gem that never misses!
