My new favorite sushi restaurant in Anchorage! We’ve been here a few times over the past few months and every meal has been delightful. The ingredients are always very fresh, the rolls are always presented nicely, and they really put a lot of thought into the flavor pairings in each roll. The chefs really do a great job and are very kind.
They have a ton of menu options but I like how they organize the rolls by fish/type; tuna is my favorite so I always order from the tuna section.
For dinner, my husband and I usually each order our own roll, plus either a third roll to share or a side/appetizer. Three menu items is the perfect amount for us. The nigiri always has a generous portion of fish on it, and the side salads are also delicious.

Food is great. The sesame chicken was cooked well sweet and filling, too much for one person to eat alone . The sushi was delicious per my wife.
The service was sort of slow.
Its the old Dennys restaurant building, but they did a decent job refurbishing it. Sort of oddly open design.
Parking is hard because it’s pretty busy. Exiting to parking lot to the street is a pain because of the offramp from the highway.

It’s was a busy Friday night and the place was buzzing. We ordered tempura shrimp, rangoons, and the sake flight just to start. For entrees we had fried rice, teriyaki chicken and tge Mongolian beef. It was all amazing and served with a smile. We will be back.

I used to eat at reharu almost every other week, but not anymore. My last experience there resulted with no miso soup, long wait time, higher prices, and they increased the tip amount by 4 dollars extra! The food is alright but the service has totally fallen off. Managers have either gotten greedy or just operate poorly. Can’t even blame the staff just poor recent experiences with a place I used to love going to. Would not recommend.

5 stars!!! Oh my god, I wish I could give 6 stars for the service. Our waitress was amazing! The food came out very quickly and was very fresh! It was beautiful and delicious, and had big servings for the dinner entrees.

There was one server rushing around to serve all tables. He did a great job, acknowledged each group, got everyone served. I went for my birthday lunch and though he was busy, he brought fried Oreos with a candle right after I finished my plate, clearly keeping his eyes on our table so we didn’t wait long.
The tempura was crispy, the teriyaki wasn’t overly sweet and syrupy, I had a rainbow roll, well balanced.

My food was delicious, with huge portions of fish. Our server was fast and the food came out quickly, even though it was busy!
Even the rice was amazing here, which is not all that common.

The Haru O roll was pretty tasty! I had it on the 4th. I’d like to come back and try other rolls! This sushi place has a fast paced atmosphere.
