When my friend comes back in town for a visit, we alternate between different bars to get our group of Cowboys fans together. Choppers has been on that rotation for years, depending on the time of the game and who else is playing. This place gets packed!
It’s normal for sports bars to be packed on game day but something about this layout makes it feel especially crowded. It’s loud, again, not uncommon. Sometimes the service is a little slow, nothing that’s annoying and everything that’s understanding when it’s busy. We usually go for wings or nachos and order pitchers because of our group size. It’s good portions, if a little pricier than other places. The crowds are usually friendly and enthusiastic, which makes it a fun environment for sports fans.
For a change-up from downtown, this is a good place to consider.

We liked this neighborhood sports bar. There were plenty of seating and tvs around, the staff were lovely, and the food was amazing! Get their bison burger with avocado and fries and you’re all good. The fries and burgers were just magnificent! We liked their chips with guacamole and salsa as well. We watched some hockey and we had a fun time at this sports bar. Highly recommend!

Good food. Good drinks. This review is intended as a cautionary warning. If you like hot wings, just get the Buffalo. Don’t get the Scorpion. Entirely too hot. Give this review a thumbs up if you made the mistake of ordering the scorpion and it was too hot.

I haven’t had the pleasure of dining at Chopper’s yet, but my Denver family does all the time (and RAVE) — and I can’t wait to join them someday! I had a hunch they were there today and wonderful Gabe went above and beyond to confirm it for me and helped make a surprise happen! I purchased a gift card, and he personally ensured it was delivered with their dessert. It was absolutely perfect! Thank you Gabe!
I’m in another state, but Gabe’s kindness and attention to detail made this surprise possible. Thank you for such outstanding service — I can’t wait to visit Chopper’s myself!

Amazing Sports bar with more than just your regular bar food. Bartender was super friendly and informative. Bison Chili and Bison Burger was AMAZING! Came on a Sunday from out of town, and was not disappointed. They had each game on their own screen. Serving staff was also quick and attentive even if you weren’t “their’s”. Highly recommend a visit for hometown feel if you’re from elsewhere

I have lived right across the street from Choppers for over 5 years and there is a reason we never come here. Poor service, overpriced food, and awful management are a start. I received two emails from Choppers in the past two weeks promoting bottomless mimosas and we went there today to find out that this was false advertising. The manager had the opportunity to fix the situation and he didn’t, which is par for the course. We eat out 2-3 times a week in the Cherry Creek area, so we understand good food, service, and atmosphere. Avoid this place like the plague and spend your money at one of the other establishments that deserve your business.

Came in on a Sunday during a Ravens game (It’s a Ravens bar) to watch football. The place was absolutely packed but we got a table right away because it’s a huge space and the service was AMAZING! Super quick drinks and food service. Very friendly and attentive waiter. Food is bar food. Solid.

Friends came all the way from NM to watch the game at what used to be my favorite sports bar — but after years of being a loyal customer, this visit was really disappointing.
• The main big TV wasn’t working — a huge letdown for game day.
• My Bloody Mary, ordered “no spice,” came extra spicy.
• Nachos had maybe 8–10 chips total — not great for sharing with 4 people.
• $5 charge for a tiny side of guacamole.
• Asked for jalapeños on the side — they were put on top.
• One dish came out cold and had to be sent back.
• Asked for blue cheese; got ranch instead.
• Requested plates for shareable food, but they arrived too late and the food got cold.
When I brought these issues to the GM’s attention, I received no credit, no accommodation, and no acknowledgment beyond a basic apology.
Our server was fantastic — this wasn’t her fault. The problems clearly came from the kitchen and management side. Unfortunately, I don’t feel right supporting a place that doesn’t take care of its customers or its staff. Sadly, this was probably my last visit.
