A Local Gem with Heart and Soul
This smoothie shop isn’t just about delicious drinks, it’s about heart, community, and two wonderful people who pour their passion into everything they do. The owners, a lovely couple with a meaningful story, have created a place that feels like home once you really get to know them.
Johnny’s got a great sense of humor, sometimes quick or dry, but always genuine! and she’s more on the quiet side, kind and thoughtful once she warms up to you. Together, they balance each other perfectly, and it shows in the atmosphere of their shop.
They take care of their regulars like family (and yes, the regulars love to play favorites when it comes to who makes their smoothies as well. it’s all in good fun, and neither of them ever takes it the wrong way! If you’re new, give it a few visits, don’t be so judgmental and come here to attack them! You’ll see that their warmth and kindness come from a place of real connection and care.
What stands out most is how much they support the community and other businesses, they do a lot of collaborations, they’re always cheering on other small businesses. You can feel the respect and love they have for the people around them.
They’ve built a very successful business through hard work, love, and dedication even making it through the challenges of COVID and coming out stronger than ever, they are still here!

Hands down the best spot in Long Beach for smoothies and juices! Customer service is A+. Before I even walk in, Johnny already knows my order. You’ve got to try the Creamsicle — it’s the best.

STOP EVERYTHING & GO HERE! I’ve been a regular here for about 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE FBG! The smoothies, protein shakes, wellness shots, and juices are all delicious and made from the freshest organic ingredients — and they really do mean genuinely ORGANIC! Some places make fake claims… not FBG. If you don’t believe me, check their Instagram page, where they post their invoices for all to see. How’s that for transparency? You can literally see every ingredient you’re getting. Plus, they don’t use single-use plastics here either — they use Greenware cups and lids, which are compostable and biodegradable. The couple who owns and runs FBG is so awesome — they’re honest, dedicated, hardworking, incredibly friendly and personable family people, and they run the whole operation in the memory of their late brother-in-law. Plus, Johnny (the owner) is a dietician! He went through years of schooling and knows everything there is to know about the top-shelf ingredients in their smoothies. He’ll even share his insider knowledge to help you achieve and maintain optimal health and fitness, just because he genuinely enjoys making people look and feel better. Also, every 10th smoothie is free when you check in on the Clover app, so great value there. Can’t wait to bring my partner here when he comes in from Australia next month. They make good shakes but unless you are a regular here, its always a put your customer down and make side comments about you to other customers. That’s nasty in my opinion. Your customers dont do it to you so dont do it to your customers.
You could do better and probably be one of the best in Long Beach but that attitude will keep like this small and chase away customers and less profitable. Unless you learn to accept this, you will stay small, no matter how good your shakes are.
A place like this should have line out the door like some other places in town but cant with this current attitude. Hire some friendly staff, train them and do behind the scene work. You will grow.

If you’re looking for a delicious and healthy smoothie, this is the place to go! They have tons of options, sweet and savory smoothies, plus for those who prefer they also offer vegan protein. They have healthy shots that not only taste amazing, but absolutely keep your immune system in check when taken properly ! The staff is extremely nice and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure you walk out smiling.

With our 3 year old starting daycare we have been nonstop sick for months now and nothing was helping. A good friend recommended this place and told us to get the cannonball shot as soon as we start feeling another virus coming on. When I tell you this stuff is magic I mean it. I thought I was going to have to cancel my birthday party but the shot saved me and nipped the virus in the bud. Now as soon as we see our toddler starting to sniffle we get her a wellness shot and ourselves the cannonball shot. Today they even threw in a ginger shot on the house which was really kind of them. Very worth the drive into Long Beach for us!
