Due to the rain, we had to look for indoor dining and Sola was one of them. It was a lucky stumble as we were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Our family ordered the fried chicken sandwich, chicken wings dry rub with garlic Parmesan and 2 piece fish and chips. All the food was delicious and we had no complaints! Check it out as you get a beautiful beach view…too bad we didn’t have good weather!!

This is a lovely local restaurant by the beach, with a wonderful view of Lake Huron, at Sauble Beach. They have a fairly good menu with plenty of variety and the pricing is reasonable. There was also really nice live music. Seems to be a Sauble Beach favourite. The view of the shoreline is breathtaking at sunset.

Wow! This is some top quality take out food. Thank you for opening during these hard times. Ive ordered the cheeseburger w/ poutine, fish and chips, and Greek salad. All tasted absolutely amazing and the freshness is unbelievable. Their French fries are also something I’ve never quite had before, they’re consistently crunchy and good. Everything else tasted just like how it should, not in a microwave, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Staff are very proffesional and nice. Will definitely continue to order. Prices are quite steep though for my liking but the food shows and tastes for quality.

The prices were a bit higher than usual, but considering their location, it’s totally understandable. The waiting line was quite long, so it’s better to arrive early to avoid a wait. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing. I would definitely recommend it if you want to watch the sunset.

My family and I visited Thursday evening after a busy day. We were seated very quickly by a friendly server. The service was quick and friendly. The kids loved their chicken tenders. I ordered a burger with fries. While the fries were absolutely delicious, the burger was nothing special. Good thing there is plenty of other menu options to try next time we go there! The music was louder than I’d prefer for a dining experience, but we knew what to expect because the live band was playing before we even arrived.

I took my daughter for dinner Saturday night. We got there around 5:30 before the dinner rush. The food was mediocre. I ordered the chicken sandwich which was burnt on the outside, inside was partially pink and the fries were cold. She had a wrap, which was mostly lettuce very little chicken. It was supposed to have guacamole but they said they were out of it however my daughter still wanted that wrap and the fries were cold. I did not want to complain as it was now busy and only 2 servers were outside., however disappointing when I paid almost 70 for two meals. It took us a while to get the food.Would say the atmosphere was great being across from the beach however would not return for a meal.

Went with 2 kids. Arrived at 7 and waited maybe 20 minutes and got a table with a great view of the sunset. There is only one other restaurant beside with such a great view. There was a live band. Seems to be the place in town by the beach for dinner. My dinner (birria beef sandwich) was surprisingly good and my wife’s gluten free quesadilla was fine. Kids food is kids food. Live music was great (a lady with 2 guys was performing) but the sound should be decreased a bit as it was difficult to speak and hurt a bit the ears. As others have said, drinks barely have any alcohol, it’s more like juice. I didn’t believe these comments but it’s very true. As such, for the price, I recommend ordering wine/beer/cans. Our male server with a moustache offered great service. The hostess also did a good job managing the customers coming in line. So yes 5 stars overall and recommend.
