After trying there breaded chicken a few weeks ago we decided to go back to see if it was just a great cooking night for the cook or was this a consistent thing. Because sometimes food be good at places then another time it falls short. Never saying that Sammy’s does but when trying something new we wanted to try again being the chicken was good… fried perfectly, season perfectly and the wings were nice sides. So this might get long. We grew up with a Sammy’s Pizza in my hometown. When Sammy passed the family ran it a few more years then sold it. The new owners didn’t keep the recipes and went off in there own direction. I thought that great thin crust pizza was gone forever. Then we saw this place. It was late and we didn’t think we would get served but we did. I didn’t know what to expect. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The I looked at the menu and there it was the house special. I thought couldn’t be. So we ordered it. It was exactly like I remembered it. Same square cut thin crust pizza from my childhood. Same flavor. Same single sausage piece on every square. A trip back in time. I truly recommend if you in Eau Claire stop and get a Sammy’s pizza!

Very good. Ordered a simple small pepperoni with light sauce for delivery at a hotel. Came warm, they included little cups of red pepper flakes and parm per my request. Was ten minutes early. Very nice delivery driver. Would order again.

Best broaster chicken in EC that I have experienced!! Not a huge fan of the sides options, specifically no mashed potatoes on the menu, BUT the jo-jo’s are still very good. The pizza is pretty good too, just don’t ask for it well done or you might get a burnt crust. The garlic bread is alright, the broasted chicken definitely the star though, crispy skin, tender and juicy within. Will be eating a lot more of this chicken.

Sammy’s pizza in Eau Claire is true to the taste, service and atmosphere I learned to love at Sammy’s in Duluth, East and West. The veggie pizza is my traditional choice however in my many vusits I have never been disappointed. In my view, a trip to Sammy’s requires me to order more than I will eat as leftovers through the air frier make a great second visit to the flavors than make Sammy’s rise to the top of my list in the first place.

The food was absolutely amazing. The pizza was cooked perfectly and had premium quality meat. The buffalo wings were my favorite, they were breaded perfectly and had excellent chicken quality. Not stringy or soggy what so ever. Very flavorful as well 🙂

We have been eating Sammy’s Pizza since it opened in 1957, my brother was the first delivery boy and came up with browning the hamburger and spreading it on the beef pizza, his name was Kenny Barrington jr. We LOVE Sammy’s Pizza and go there every week or two. It is the best Pizza we have ever had. SAMMY’S PIZZA is number 1.

We like Sammy’s. Pizza is great. Only complaint is parking. It would be good if the back (west side of bldg) lot was open whenever the restaurant is open, but this isn’t always the case.

The place is pretty relaxed for a good drink and great food. The bartenders are really nice. They give you the wifi password which is definitely a plus. I like to sit here and do my college work and have a beer and just relax. No one yells or is rude. There are plenty of older people here and mature people so the atmosphere is cool calm and collected. I like it here.
