I’ve definitely heard a lot about this place so I wanted to check out the hype with it. I enjoyed my meal, portions were generous and the restaurant overall had great cleanliness and staff was friendly. I loved the vibrant vibes of the atmosphere, although I felt that the music was way too loud here, could probably knock the volume down a few decibels so it’s easier to converse especially when there isn’t a rush of a crowd inside or a lot of noise. Otherwise it was a nice experience and glad I tried it. I heard about the Lakeland location too I want to try as well, since that is closer to me (Brandon area).

Man! I didn’t think I’d be saying this but this place just hit the TOP on my list. We ordered a 3 Tender Plate (1 Why Heat, 2 No Heat) with Bacon Jalapeño Corn, So Gouda Mac, and Apple Cobbler. Everything was absolutely great! I’m a Heat head and the “Why” tender had me at first bite and the regular tenders were tasty even without the dipping sauce.
I’m just gonna say it, they are much better than Hattie B’s and Prince’s Chicken This is the top Hot Chicken I’ve had.

Both the Lakeland and Winter Haven locations slap. Chicken is always phenomenal & we’ve never had a bad experience, any time we’ve patronized their establishments. Winter Haven location definitely has more space inside/outside & ample parking. Service is quick & friendly. Highly recommend & worth any amount of time you have to wait in line.

This place is almost as awesome as the Lakeland location…sorry….the less was in the sides today. Fries not great thankfully I got some of the homemade cheese sauce . Greens were pretty good though s little sweet. The beans…still trying to like them. Chicken with the Why and the hot honey is just amazing.

Being from out of town and on vacation, my family and I try to eat local. We are so glad we came across lovebirds almost famous chicken.
Here are a few pinpoints that exceeded expectations:
– first impression is that it’s clean & the visual appeal is off the wall amazing!
-the menu has an abundance in of options. All of which sounds delicious.
-Reasonable prices.
-Staff is friendly and personable.
– I have young children so the colliding pages and crayons are a big thumbs up for me.
– last but not least, the food is AMAZING! Large portions of quality food. Chicken is bursting with flavor! If you are a ranch snob like I am, you will NOT be disappointed.
All in all, I will most definitely be back here and you should check it out!

I went with my parents for lunch. I ordered the grilled chicken tenders with cole slaw, tomato cucumber salad, my mom got the fried chicken tenders & my dad got the thigh and drumstick with Mac and cheese and fries. My dad enjoys this restaurant as dark meat is available which is not always the case at such a casual dining place.
My sides were very fresh tasting and a nice compliment to.the juicy chicken tenders. While I enjoyed the cole slaw, it had a little bit of heat and was not what I would consider a sweet slaw. The portions were generous. While there is no bar, there is a cooler with a wide selection of beers available. There is a nice sized patio for outdoor dining.

Update: I’ve been back with mom and my sister several times. The experience is consistently excellent chicken. Mom did not like the slaw but loves the Tomato Cucumber Salad. The My Girl Ain’t Hungry had been plenty for mom, and for lunch is plenty for my sister, she got it with the fries.
I’m stuck on the My Boy Bleu and the Jalapeño Bacon Corn and will continue repeating.

No buttermilk or MSG! I LOVE spicy chicken but other, less enlightened, places put buttermilk in the batter. LoveBird makes a tasty, spicy batter that I can eat. I conveyed my appreciation to the manager and he said they had purposefully changed their original recipe to accommodate lactose intolerant folks like me. Wonderful service and food.
