We’ve been here twice now and had great experiences both times! The first time we sat at a table and the second time at the bar. Both days were Saginaw Spirit game days, so it definitely can get busy! Service was quick, despite it being packed. We enjoyed our meals and thought the atmosphere was fun. Can’t wait to go back again to try more menu items and drinks! So happy to have a downtown restaurant close to the Dow!

Tried Gordie’s out in Saginaw, might go there again! A friend had a birthday party and tons of people showed up, so it slowed down the service time, but waitress was nice and tried her best. Ordered whisky sour, unlike others I have had, wouldn’t get that drink again…the bar lacked a variety of Crown Royal as well. Ordered the brisket poutine, pretty good!

The ambiance is very gastro pub-esque with a chill hockey town vibe where you can celebrate before and after a local game or local event downtown. The food is gourmet, chef inspired and elevated pub style with a variety of handhelds, poutines and a great selection for everyone’s taste buds.
The bartenders are top-notch! All of the drinks are hand crafted with precision and attention to detail while offering the best selection of liquor, beer and homemade syrups. Try the traditional old fashioned (made the right way, with egg white and a rye whiskey) or a dirty martini (so simple, but it’s the best I’ve ever had!) The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and we’ve had exceptional service every time we’ve come! The management team cares deeply about customer enjoyment and experiences valuing the feedback they receive and it’s great to see good leadership running a well oiled machine.

Well the atmosphere is awesome! Service was ok drinks were ordered and one was forgot wasnt sure if we were charged ofr it. Food was ok at best. They ran out of poutine which is a third of the menu.

I enjoyed eating here a lot! The hockey theme was incredible you can tell whoever decorated picked some great posters and memorabilia. Also the food selection was super affordable and easy to eat! The only down side is no high chairs for kids. Other than that I feel this bar does numbers with how good the food is and how good the layout is! Prices were cheap and service was also good!

Really liked the decor but the lovely staff made this a place we will be returning to, everyone was so welcoming. Our bartender was knowledgeable about the menu and made sure to let us know the pita could have a bit of spice to it. (It was delicious)
