We found this place when we were doing laundry next door. Small place with great food. We had the maple pecan cinnamon roll warmed up with some maple syrup on top and absolutely delicious. The owner was very nice and personable. Definitely a must when in Quartzsite.

I stopped here for a quick breakfast, and the name describes it right, just the basic. Quick simple and perfect! The ladies working there were polite and friendly. Had my breakfast outside on this beautiful morning. I definitely will stop her again when passing through and maybe try their lunch

A quick shop to stop for a quick healthy bite at basic deli for amazing delights! It’s next to the dog valley trading post so you’ll have to walk around the corner to find the entrance. When you walk in it’s nice and clean.
The staff was so welcoming and friendly compared to other places I walked into. There aren’t much vegan options. However, they did make me a custom shake so I would have no meat products. Today i ordered a pineapple, mango apple smoothie and a blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was light, airy, fluffy with just the right amount of blueberries. My friend ordered a chocolate chocolate chip muffin and a Jimmy Dean sausage, egg croissant sandwich and shake as well. They explain to me that the sandwich came out perfect and that the muffin was light airy and the shake was also tasty.
The customer service was exceptional and above my expectations. I definitely recommend Basic Deli for anybody who wants to have an amazing experience in Quartzsite getting a quick bite for breakfast
or lunch. They do close at 2 PM sharp so if you’re early riser, this is definitely the spot for you. Thank you again for the amazing hospitality and amazing shakes and food!

Food was delicious! We had the biscuits and gravey special, it was so good. Cappuccino was excellent, beans were fresh, I tasted no chemicals. Cinnamon bun and pecan pie was fresh, homemade and the best! Michelle was so friendly! We will be back again! Thank you!

This little place is super duper. We eat here every time we’re at the laundry mat. Michelle and her husband owns both places. The egg salad sandwich is to die for along with the other food. Service is awesome.

Basics is a perfect name. It has just the basics. I highly recommend the biscuit and gravy with an egg on top. The cinnamon rolls are superb as are the coffee selections. They ask for a name for the order we’ll my name is Marc I’m so used to saying it as Marc with a C. The next day I went in I was greeted with Good Morning Marc with a C. Nice feeling.

Update: I live and travel Fulltime in my RV. I have eaten biscuits and gravy all across the country, Basics Deli has the best by far. The Biscuits are light and fluffy, the gravy has just the right amount of sausage in it. The price can’t be beat. I usually get a double order with an over easy Egg on top for $10.50.

Love this little place by the laundromat! Homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee helped pass The time as our laundry tumbled. Would highly recommend! My sweet roll was maple bacon!
