I usually love coming here with my husband—whether we’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the sushi and hibachi are always a treat. Today, however, was disappointing. We ordered two different rolls (the Alaskan roll and the Salmon Avocado roll), and when we opened our sushi at home, we found a hair in one of the rolls. It was really off-putting and not what we’ve come to expect from a place we normally enjoy. Hoping this was just a rare slip-up, but it definitely affected our experience this time.

I have been here twice on each time I go through the drive-thru the food is actually pretty decent we enjoy it. And the two times that I’ve come through there the customer service is always the best.

We were in the area shopping and decided to come check this place out. There was no wait at the time we came in. Food didn’t take long and it was all good. Tried the hibachi, fried squid, and crab Rangoon. It is a small type restaurant. It was also very convenient that their serving plates are to go and they have matching lids at the front.

Very nice place. Family owned. The food was great but speak clearly and check your receipt to make sure your order was taken correctly. Sadly my order was taken wrong but the wrong food was still very tasty. I will return to get the correct dish next time.

The steak and shrimp combo was so delicious. I ordered the crab rangoons after seeing more than a few positive reviews on here, and I’m so glad I did. They weren’t sweet like most rangoons I’ve tried, they were actually savory, and the edges weren’t so burnt that you couldn’t bite them, they were absolutely perfect to me.
I can’t wait to go back. We went through the drive-thru, and it didn’t take us very long at all to get our food after we ordered.

My experience here was great. It was empty but fresh compared to the Texas Heat ordered chicken teriyaki and sides. Food was filling for sure. Tastes pretty good as well. No complaints from me.

I thought I had found a Favorite place to eat Chinese food 2 years ago but Tokyo Express IS my NUMBER 1 place after my visit here, hands down for sure. The food is cooked with such savory ingredients and is light. It doesn’t feel heavy and plastic tasting like other locations. I’ve been to several locations and I can honestly they imitate the food making it inauthentic. The staff is VERY nice and courteous the food is made on the spot and the portion sizes is totally worth the $$$ (MEALS range about $7.95 and up). The serving plates are also really nice and give it an extra touch. The only negative is there’s ONLY ONE location and it’s this one on the NE side of town. But, It’s okay it’s worth the 30 minute drive for me. I hope they’ll open another location as the business starts to grow. The restaurant is clean, as are the bathrooms and there’s handicap accommodations. I’d recommend this location to anyone wanting Great Tasting, Fresh, Hot Chinese food.
