I couldn’t say I was impressed with the place but I was certainly not fully disappointed. It was about okayish experience.
The server though was rushing me to order – I don’t know why – it was still 7 PM.
Service was average. Ambience is actually awful. The place feels dirty. Not the kind of dirty you would imagine you just sense it’s not clean. I wouldn’t recommend, I won’t go again.

We walked In Mid afternoon looking for sushi. The short haired female owner sat us down with a stern look. We ordered a roll combo special. Miso soup was poor quality with almost no tofu. Rolls were pretty bad. We sat at a table , but some people were getting stale conveyer belt sushi. Owner gave us a check and was quite surely. Would not return

Avoid, avoid, avoid! Awful sushi that is super stale! The rice is dried up so you know everything is OLD. Service was awful too. In the end, we had to go up to pay and felt like they just made up some number since we didn’t get an itemized bill or anything. We ate 4 plates and it came out to $22+. Some of the plates didn’t even match the plates & price guide so beware, they may just be charging whatever (a 2-piece stale sushi roll was $6+? robbery!) It’s Awful, awful, awful. Avoid this place!

So happen passby San Francisco Chinatown and found that there is an vegetarian Sushi combination in the menu. Then just don’t hesitate to go for it. Worth the try, yummy. Suppose to be 4+4+2+2+2, then gave me 4+4+4+2+2, tqvm.

Delicious fresh sashimi, flacky tempura, and delicious salmon roll. Service was excellent and restaurant was clean and comfortable. Loved the floating dishes in the boats. Can’t wait to come back again.

A cozy sushi spot in the heart of Chinatown. The floating sushi was decent, but the made-to-order options stood out — especially the tempura sushi, which was excellent. Worth a visit for fresh, tasty bites!

Once you start eating a few plates off the boat, they place fresher and new varieties. Staff was chill, they’re not gonna go out of their way to make you feel special but I’m from SF, I imagine they are so over the tons of tourists and they’ve been there forever. Sushi chef was friendlier and made our special orders with a smile. Sashimi plate of Saba was worth it at 17 dollars. Most boat plates were the pricier ones so the bill did stack up, literally. I was a faithful customer of Sakana Bune (RIP) so I’m used to the sit down, grab your plates, grub, they count, get your bill and go. If you don’t want to spend much, order directly with sushi chef, or from their menu, or don’t get too grabby with the plates. I had eleven plates, paid 62 on my own . Was I stuffed? Yes. Was I satisfied? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes. Keep SF businesses alive.

The sushi is served on little floating boats that are tied together and circle the bar. Fresh watermelon juice, miso soup , and steamed rice , were delicious too. Overall, Good food and service.
