Bring back the poutine!! That’s the one dish my family enjoys coming back to Red Rose Tavern for. It’s nothing fancy but it was almost like a tradition every time we came this park. I can’t pass up a fried potato smothered in gravy and cheese.
I do appreciate the healthier menu options though. We were surprised at how good the nicoise salad was, with perfectly cooked green beans and a creamy, savory dressing on top. My spouse who’s a professional cook said it was better than ones they’ve had at work. That says a lot! So Red Rose will continue to be a staple in our future Disneyland adventures.

I recommend ordering ahead of time. I always start my Disney day by having breakfast at the red rose tavern. The French toast sandwich was absolutely delicious and the tater tot salad had a delicious sauce that should go on everything. Delicious Traditional American breakfast like no other.

We stopped here needing something to eat later in the day. We got chicken strips and fries as well as the desert treat. The chicken was actually decent and the fries were cooked very well. Not the normal mush you get at a theme park. Of course you pay twice as much as you would at any other place not in a theme park.
Overall it was one of the better food options in the park.

I ordered the Cordon Bleu Chicken sandwich with tots and I tried the Gray Stuff … but was it delicious? Not really. “Delicious” is too strong a word. They certainly weren’t horrible, it’s standard quick service level of quality.
What’s confusing is the decor. Clearly it’s meant to be themed after the 1991 animated classic, Beauty and the Beast with the magical rose, Cogsworth, and Lumiere from the movie on display. But the cupboard displays Mrs. Potts from the 2017 live action non-classic remake. If that wasn’t confusing enough, the architecture, coo-coo clock, and other details are clearly residual from its previous German (probably Pinocchio) theming. Wack.

The food took a very long time to come out despite it being very mediocre. Loved the theme but the music was overstimulating and overwhelming. Would recommend for a cheery lunch but not anything else.

The breakfast here was amazing. Beware this place does not open until 9am so my family had to wait a bit to order as we were not aware of that. But we walked right in at 9 and got our food immediately. Everything was hot and so delicious. I totally recommend the Gourmet Breakfast Sandwich. The English muffin was toasted so it had a bit of crunch against the fluffy eggs, and that maple spread added the perfect touch of sweetness. The sandwich is great!

Edited to put to 4 stars. Did put 1 star on accident. Skip the pumpkin dessert though. We had the seasonal special of chicken cordon “Boo”. It was really good. That was 5 star but the pumpkin stuff dessert was heavy foam frosting. Tater tots were good though. –

After ordering the chicken strips and a chicken sandwich, we found a table outside in the eating area. There were characters wandering around that even came into the area for some meet and greet of some eager youngsters wanting pictures. It’s a nice area to just sit, eat and talk but hard to find a table. The tables weren’t cleaned so we did have to clean our own table before sitting down. The overall food was okay but we definitely enjoyed the view.

Hamburger option also.

We stopped by Red Rose Tavern in Fantasyland for breakfast during our Disneyland trip, and it was a pretty chill way to start the day. Since it was still early, there were plenty of open seats, and we used mobile order to skip the line. I highly recommend doing that to save time.
We got the Royal Chiffon Pancake and the Maple French Toast Sandwich. Both were good, nothing crazy special, but they hit the spot and kept us full until lunch. The Mickey-shaped pancake was a cute touch.
I heard the lunch menu has more variety, but by that time it was super crowded, so we didn’t get to try it. Overall, it’s a solid breakfast option in the park. Easy, quick, and a fun way to fuel up before hitting the rides.
