We had heard great things about this restaurant and just tried it for the first time. It definitely held up to the reputation. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and served hot. The hot honey pepperoni pizza was delicious!! They have the best chicken fingers. We will definitely return.

Tucked right off 146, Brickstone Kitchen is a cozy, brick-lined American eatery with rustic charm and a welcoming outdoor setup. It’s a convenient stop with a relaxed vibe, though it leans on the pricier side. The outdoor seating is a plus, but the pace of service struggled to keep up during our visit.

We started with the corn dip, which was flavorful — just the right balance of mayo, herbs, and sweetness from the corn. That said, it came with way more chips than dip, which felt a little mismatched.
I ordered the lobster roll next. It came generously packed with meat, but the flavor didn’t quite hit for me — too heavy on the dill and celery. If it had a simpler, buttery or light mayo-based dressing with a softer bun, it could’ve been a standout.
Service & Hospitality
Service was noticeably slow. It seemed like only one server was handling the entire outdoor section, and she was clearly stretched thin. While she was doing her best, the delays made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. Definitely not ideal if you’re in a rush or expecting attentive service.
Unique Selling Point
Brickstone has potential — solid menu variety, a charming setting, and good ingredients. But if they can streamline service and simplify certain flavor profiles, this could be a much stronger dining option for the area.

Wow, the buffalo chicken pizza at Brickstone Kitchen is unbelievable — crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The homemade Caesar dressing is seriously elite too, fresh and tasty. But the real highlight of the night was Marnie. She’s so kind, friendly, and attentive — she made our dinner feel special and fun. The whole experience was elevated by her personality, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome. The atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable, so it’s a great spot to just enjoy good food and good company. Between the amazing food and Marnie’s incredible service, I’ll be back for sure. Honestly, places like this make you want to return not just for the menu, but for the whole experience.

Found this gem on our way to Newport, RI. Saw the reviews and said let’s give it a try….we were blown away by the menu and the quality and quantity to the food. Can’t wait to travel this way again….very convenient to I-90 as well!

Great food, very nice waitress. Had the dry rub wings, which were nice flavoring… not too hot. Photo shows half of order already eaten. Ordered the jambalaya, which i really liked, although it seemed a little heavy with tomato paste. The other dish was chicken lily, which was excellent. The wild mushroom Raviolis tasted great!

As a person who has high standards, this place goes well beyond! We visited this charming spot based on a recommendation from a frequent guest. We were heading in with high expectations as a result. From the minute we opened the door, we felt at home. We were greated warmly with by 2 wonderful women. They both had smiles ear to ear and were grateful we visited. My wife and I had Katie as a server this evening. Katie was friendly, professional, and had excellent attention to detail. Our drinks were never empty, our requests for additional condiments and such were met quickly (even with a full dining room!) I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. My wife had fish tacos. All of the food was cooked perfectly. The burger temp was as requested. Medium. The tacos were completely filled with fresh ingredients. The flavor from the burger was excellent. The meat was a sirloin burger. The bacon was crispy and savory. We were so full from our entrees. We will most definitely return here and know that this place will be a staple in the area for many years to come! Thank you for a fantastic dining experience. A nice date night out with my wife. 5 Stars!

Had a great lunch here. Probably spent about 30 per person, but we also split an appetizer so that could have made it higher. The service was amazing and it seemed very homey. All the waitresses were very kind and friendly. The food was amazing and I do plan on coming back. We had wanted to go for dinner the night before but there was an hour wait, thankfully there wasn’t a wait for lunch the next day. I would recommend the mussels and fish tacos!

Great food, great variety and a welcoming atmosphere make this a place we keep coming back to. The seafood dishes are fantastic and the pasta options are just as impressive. My favorite is the beef stroganoff that’s rich, comforting and perfectly cooked every time. There are so many great choices on the menu that you truly can’t go wrong with anything you order. The kids’ menu is excellent, too, with thoughtful, high-quality options like including grilled salmon, which our fussy toddler absolutely loves.

Fairly small but somewhat cozy, a tad loud but that comes with the territory of a small restaurant. Dont come here expecting to have quiet conversation, you will more than likely over hear all conversations around you.
As for the food, I ordered the chicken emma. On paper it sounded unbelievably good. Unfortunately the portion was rather small & it was mediocre. Chicken wasn’t dry or anything but it wasn’t anything I would brag about to friends. The gnocchi was good although again the portion was fairly small.
A friend ordered a burger and fries which was much less $ and looked like 2x the amount of food. Anyway, I would surely go back to try something else. The food is worth at least going to see if its your jam!

I’ve been here a couple of times now and have had a good experience every time. This past visit, we started with a qouhog, some tasty cocktails, and bread. He had a burger, and I had a fresh pasta dish. Everything was flavored well, and I love the fresh homemade pasta. All around good experience.
