Modern Asian fusion fare, offered with beer & wine in a quaint setting with a seasonal garden.

The staff was friendly and was very helpful when we had questions about the menu.
We were surprised by how solid everything we ordered was, considering this place has a large Asian fusion menu. The buns were good and fluffy. The curry had good flavors. Although the portions could be a bit bigger.
The Vietnamese coffee is also good.
Overall, the food options here are all good and solid from this experience.

Wonderful experience! We came here after a cold hike and it was just what we needed. We ordered their Chicken Pho, Classic Pho, and Avocado Tofu Curry with sides of Pork Belly Buns and Matcha Milk Teas. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was airy and peaceful. We’ll definitely be back on a summer day when we can try their outdoor patio.

Umi Café is such a hidden gem! We stopped by after a medical appointment and were blown away by how good everything was. I ordered the chicken pho and it was so flavorful, comforting, and delicious. I could honestly eat it every day. My husband had the Umi chicken and said it was packed with flavor as well. We also tried the fries, which were surprisingly great! They were crispy and perfectly seasoned.
The location itself is really lovely. They have outdoor seating right next to a koi pond, which creates such a relaxing, peaceful vibe- perfect for enjoying a meal. The combination of amazing food, friendly atmosphere, and such a nice setting makes this spot one we’d absolutely drive back for. Highly recommend!

This is a nice spot just down the street from where I’m staying in town. It’s a chilly January and the beef phô definitely hit the spot for a warming meal. It wasn’t as flavorful as other phô I’ve had, but it was reasonably priced and wasn’t bad by any stretch. It was tasty and satisfying, just not special. I’d gladly go back, though.
A tip if you order to-go like I did: Check your bowl to make sure everything that’s wrapped in plastic is out of the bowl. Extra beef and toppings come wrapped in plastic and sit on top of and underneath the bowl contents. I’m very glad I checked before pouring the broth!

Cafe Umi in Issaquah provides a lovely dining experience, marked by a beautiful setting and genuinely friendly service. The property is very clean and well-maintained, contributing to a welcoming and beautiful occasion. However, the food quality proved to be hit-or-miss, resulting in a solid, but well-deserved, three-star rating.
The menu item that truly shines and deserves all the praise is the Banh Mi sandwich. Specifically, the BBQ Pork Banh Mi was absolutely fantastic. The French bread was excellent, crusty on the outside and soft within. The fresh, crisp vegetables were fantastic, and the star of the show—the barbecue pork meat—was incredibly flavorful. This sandwich is a standout dish and a reason to visit the restaurant on its own.

While traveling through Issaquah, we decided to stop by your café, and we couldn’t have made a better choice! The cozy atmosphere and beautiful view instantly made us feel welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the warm experience. The soups were delicious and fragrant, and the salads were packed with a variety of fresh, healthy ingredients.
It’s the little things that bring joy to life, reminding us of the words from Scripture: «I have concluded that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during their life, also that everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God» (Ecclesiastes 3:12-13)
If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a healthy and flavorful meal, this is it! Thank you so much, guys—we hope to visit again soon!

The food is really good and well priced. Salt and pepper tofu was amazing. We also got pho, popcorn chicken, garlic fries, and lemon chicken+rice during this visit. Also service is SO fast!! (You place your order at the counter and they bring it to your table)
Definitely try the drinks/coffee! Loved their “snowing white” coconut coffee and other blended drinks. Boba isn’t their specialty but it is still ok. The owner is really kind and you can tell he cares about making good food for people. Every dish is well made and we have come back to dine here since.

This small little cafe tucked back by the community center of Issaquah is an absolute gem. I can’t believe that I have been bringing my kids here to play basketball all year and just now discovered this place. The service is incredible. The owner is attentive, patient and really cool, the food is out of this world! We had Pho, Curry, wings, fries and popcorn chicken and it was all incredible to say the least!! The place fills up quick so come with patience and enjoy the atmosphere. It’ll be well worth the wait!!

Umi Cafe was a tasty Vietnamese lunch experience on a gorgeous June Saturday. I wish the beef pho had been a tad more flavorful, but the dumplings and bahn mi were solid. The outside area was also very well decorated with a garden aesthetic.

This place is interesting. It has 3 different atmosphere in one. An outdoor dinning with seats and huge umbrellas, a small area attached to the kitchen, and an separate room. It wasn’t cohesive, but it has high ceiling and certain type of vibes. The food was med, but it was served super blazing hot. There’s nothing outstanding, but its definitely worth a try.
