I gave the service for stars simply because of the culture. No, they are not gonna wait on you hand in foot.Because in their culture , that’s not what they do. But they did before, I could even sit down, ask me what I wanted to drink. They were right there as soon as I walked through the door and asked me if I was carry out or sit in. And I was seated right away. There was a lot of other people there and they were all very happy with their food as well.Having wonderful conversations. They brought my appetizer out rather quickly. And my entree was with the same amount of quickness. I saw them glance over at me.Plenty of times every single time anyone walked by to see if I needed anything. But they didn’t interrupt me while I was eating or while I was on the phone which I greatly appreciated , but I knew if I needed anybody they were right there. The prices were very reasonable.I just took myself out to dinner. So this was definitely a good night , and I didn’t overspend. The portions were definitely the right portions for me. They didn’t skimp on the food but they didn’t overload the plate.Either. Perfect!
All in all, I would definitely say, try it.I even added a few pictures.
Enjoy.
Prior review: We’ve eaten here many times. Food is good. Waiters rarely visit your table after delivering your food, so you have to flag someone down for service or to pay the bill. We usually choose from the menu, have not tried the weekend dim sum yet.
When my birthday rolled around, we brought the whole family here. The food was fantastic, and they even surprised us with birthday sweet buns—such a thoughtful touch. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming.
Highly recommend giving this place a try. You won’t regret it.
1. Shanghai Pork Soup Dumpling
The hint of ginger gave it a nice added flavor. It’s best eaten right after it’s served, much better while still warm.
2. Sichuan Dry Fried Green Beans
The taste was just right, not too strong or salty. One of the best versions of this dish I’ve tried.
3. Shrimp Siu Mai
The dumplings were compact and well-shaped, with a good size and a generous shrimp filling. Each bite felt substantial and satisfying.
4. Fried Garlic Pork Rib
Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. However, the fried garlic gave it a slightly bitter taste. That might be the intended flavor, but it was a bit too strong for me and overpowered the pork.
5. Braised Pork Belly
I usually love braised pork belly, but this one was disappointing. The flavor just wasn’t there. It didn’t seem to have star anise, which is usually one of the key ingredients. I really wanted to like it, but I couldn’t.
Service: We were seated right away, and the lady helped us place our order through the QR code link. The waitress was attentive, and the food came out quickly. This was on a Sunday night around 7 p.m.
Atmosphere: Quiet and relaxed.
