Loved the gluten free options – so tasty. My husband had Lasagna (non gf) and I had Carbonara (gf) and we split the BBQ chicken pizza (gf). Then split a very tasty Peanut butter cheesecake (GF!). First time here – will not be our last. My only issue was choosing what to have because I wanted so many lol! Sorry – only got pics of the pizza this time!

Perfect Pre-Race Fuel in Kingston
We stopped in for a pre-triathlon dinner, hoping for some good Italian food, and were not disappointed! We started with the Arancini (fried rice balls), which were excellent. Served in a tasty tomato sauce with melted mozzarella, they were light, fluffy, and seasoned perfectly.
We followed that with an all-dressed pizza. The thicker crust was light and cooked through, though a crispier exterior would have made it perfect. The toppings—pepperoni, green peppers, and mushrooms—were fresh and plentiful. The best part was the stringy, non-oily cheese layered on top and bottom.
Service was hard-working, pleasant, and attentive. The restaurant had a nice, warm atmosphere with wood tones and pictures of Italy. We saw some other amazing-looking dishes go by, especially a cheese and meat platter, so we’d love to return. A great find in Kingston!

I wish I took pictures of my friends’ dishes and my pizza – the food here was divine ! We ate every bit of it and it was filling. Our waitress was very pleasant and kind. I felt bad how we stayed past closing and she didn’t even tell us that they’re closed. Nonetheless, such an incredible experience and I will definitely be coming g here again – I need to try everything!!

We chose this restaurant because the menu looked really good and we didn’t want anything super expensive. For an appetizer, we shared the hummus plate that was fresh and delicious. Mains were butternut squash ravioli for me and veal with asparagus and prosciutto for my dinner partner. I had a single glass of the house red. We shared a generous slice of carrot cake (not made in-house) that was really delicious. We sat at one of 3-4 tables that are located in the front, where the takeaway food is. I think next time, I’d like to be more inside the restaurant. Also, I’m happy that we made reservations as people were being turned away. Very good restaurant. Highly recommend.

We picked up a take home chicken Alfredo this evening for dinner and we were very disappointed. The pasta was flavourless, dry and had barely any sauce. The chicken alfredo is usually my favourite dish for takeout and in restaurant but this take home version was not enjoyable.

We came for supper during a busy Saturday evening. The ambiance was lovely and the pizza was delicious! But what really stood out was the outstanding customer service, from the moment we walked in to the care and attention we received during our meal. We cannot say enough about how fabulous this place is!

Lovely little Italian spot with delicious food. We tried quite a few things and with the exception of the Caesar salad (which was subpar in our opinion but still very edible) it was all great. Not located near downtown or anything but worth a visit. Prices were very reasonable.

Another great experience. Very friendly atmosphere and fantastic staff. There is plenty of food and drink selection. The food is always consistent and delicious. Never a bad experience. We had the goat cheese salad and it was great. Try it.

GO Italian is a nice local restaurant that has all the Italian fare that North Americans have come to expect but with a few nice additions form the chef. I’ve been a few times and have not been disappointed. The Coastal Greens salad has an avocado, asiago vinaigrette dressing, and they do a great Cesar salad. The tour of Italy is for BIG eaters who just cannot decide what they want most, with a hefty Chicken Parmesan and Alfredo Linguini PLUS Lasagna. The Lasagna is nicely done with great flavour yet not overly heavy or acidic. The pizzas are unique combinations that provide great flavours. I regret not having the Tiramisu – I just did not have the ability to eat any more. Next time!
Well we have returned several times now and the food and service has always been great. On the latest visit I was particularly impressed with the spontaneous improvisation of a gluten free chicken parm by the cooks even at a busy meal time. Thank you!

GO Italian is a gem. They consistently provide delicious food and exceptional service. It’s likely the best spinach dip I’ve ever had. You have to try it!
Please note they don’t take in new diners after 8, and reservations are highly recommended.
