SALT Suburban Kitchen is out here casually ruining my ability to enjoy mediocre food ever again.
Come hungry because you’ll order more.
Started with the birria potatocketa, which should honestly come with a warning label because they are dangerously good (we went back for round two of these). Crispy, rich, dunkable perfection. The shrimp dumplings were delicate but packed with flavor, and the pork potstickers were exactly what potstickers should be when they’re done right—savory, juicy, and gone way too fast.
Then came the brisket fries, and at that point it was game over. Loaded, indulgent, and clearly designed by someone who understands joy.
Special shoutout to the chili oil. I would put that stuff on anything. Shoes. Contracts. Life decisions.
On top of all that, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed.
In short: everything slapped, nothing missed, and I will absolutely be back pretending I’m “just stopping in for one thing.”
Highly recommend. Bring friends. Order too much. No regrets.

AAAAA!!! You absolutely HAVE to try this food. It was so incredibly delicious and the menu is also really inclusive towards vegetarians, vegans, and people with other dietary restrictions. Also a lot of the menu items can be made vegetarian and/ or vegan upon request.
The owner Chin is also so sweet and made it a really special experience. 100/10 I highly recommend.

Everything was amazing. The fries that I had were the best fries that I’ve ever had all of these sauces that I tried the truffle mayo, and the chipotle mayo were amazing. They make amazing dipping sauce sauces. I got the butter chicken on brioche, and the chicken itself was juicy and flavorful. The bun tasted like it just came out of the oven overall just an amazing experience.

This is food with soul and character. It’s familiar, yet inventive, fresh and perfectly spiced. Chin has endless kindness and talent, and everything she creates is amazing. Did I drive 25min just for the birria potstickers and butter chicken sandwich? Absolutely.
The fusion items are a perfect marriage of flavors, the texture is just right, everything is wonderfully juicy.
Forever recommended as one of my favorite places for great food!

Saturday morning during the summer is reserved for strolling through the downtown farmer’s market. This year, I have gone every Saturday because of this place. The first time I saw the SALT Surburban Kitchen stall, I came to try them out and to support a local business. I have been hooked since. The food is amazing and so creative. I’m a sucker for dumplings so I rotate through their menu. Everything is so tasty and delicious. When they added the simply veg, I was excited that I could share their dumplings with my spouse. Now it has become our Saturday morning tradition.
The owner, Chin, is so gracious and so kind. I would come here just to support her and luckily I’m getting some great food out of it. Come and check them out.

We’ve been here twice and we’ve tried the beef empanada, the brisket-loaded fries, the burger, the dumplings, the cubano bao, and the potstickers and it’s all been amazing. Great attention to detail. The owner is super generous and kind. We can’t wait to go back again and finish trying everything on the menu!

AMAZING!!!!! The most innovative fusion truck in the city. Chin provides some of the best customer service experiences I’ve seen in a truck. She moves fast, talks fast, and does it all with grace and smiles. We tried the empanadas (beef chimi and chicken), they were fantastic. The FLAVOR IS THERE!!!! The Cubano Bao is unreal. That was so good…i almost didn’t do the egg… Don’t make that mistake, it added such an incredible element. Dumplings were amazing… Wow. You’d think that would be a slam dunk anywhere, but you’d be wrong. We had the steamed and the pan seared pork and leek. They are delicious. Both of them. I prefer the seared, but that’s me. Both of them are incredible. Don’t miss the “Shrimp Toast”. That’s really really interesting and utterly delicious. Keep an eye on this truck. Chin has some amazing offerings coming. Come see!!!!

Chin, the owner of this establishment gets 5 stars for phenomenal service and genuine kindness. I was blown away by the flavor of the food and by the hospitality offered to me.
They don’t have vegetarian or vegan options on their menu but just ask and they will take care of you!
