And then, the dude didnt apply my code for the 2$ any size fry from the app, leading to it costing 5. He didnt tell me the price at the window and after getting my receipy i realized it was double what it should be normally (again, bazillion times.) I told them, since 3 people couldnt figure out how to fix the mistake, to just keep the water and the fry, and refund me the difference. These *very smart* people gave me 4 dollars back after not providing either the large fry, or large water. Lets do some math 4.89>4.00 first of all
And 4.89+1.59 is about 7 dollars total. They gave me 4. Not only are they terrible at speaking english, they also cant do the basic arithmetic that my daughter whos 5 could do. I have just one word. Deport!
The events leading up to this review are as follows..
I ordered a chicken spicy deluxe meal, and I added cheese to my sandwich. Not only did my fries come out room temperature and soggy, but the cheese was forgotten. I called the store once I realized, and was told to come in to get the replacement sometime in the next couple days(if not now). So I agreed to stop by sometime.
The next day, I was feeling like having some Mcd breakfast but that manager was not working. I thought, it will be fine I can come in later for the free replacement already promised. As the manager who made the promise over the phone doesn’t come in till later.
It was not fine. One of my hash browns was forgotten and when I went back to ask about it, I was met with hostility, and automatically assumed I was lying. The lady said “well I know I put it in there”. Handed me a hash brown and said “okay have a good day” and walked away. Both said in a very condescending tone. Well obviously you didn’t put the 2nd hash brown in the bag, and forgot about it, or one of the employees got hungry while walking it out to me. Regardless, I felt very disrespected, when all I wanted was the food I ordered. The solution was so simple and it became a huge deal.
I’m not the only one who feels this way. Multiple friends of mine have had similar issues with the same employee.
When you screw up an order, a good business would do what they could to make it right. Not snap back with an attitude and assume they are lying.
Yes, the manager did offer to remake my food, which was nice. And I got my replacement hash brown.
But I don’t feel welcome at this restaurant. At all.
I won’t be back to this location and I’m considering reaching out to corporate because I haven’t felt this mistreated by a business, ever.
I have PTSD from this McDonald’s
