Service was incredibly quick, with friendly staff and absolutely incredible food. The Lola’s Bowl was so good I am leaving this review as I’m eating it. Make sure you try some Lumpia too! Highly recommended.

My husband and I got married in May of 2023 (I am SO late on writing a review and truly apologize!). We had a backyard wedding and hired Lola’s Lumpia Food Truck to cater. They were 10/10 AWESOME!!! Mark and Reneka are two of the kindest people you will meet and their whole team was wonderful. I asked a lot of questions over the months leading up to our wedding and their responses were always prompt and thorough. I was really impressed that they double-checked the spelling of our names for the menu, reached out to offer vegetarian lumpia when it became available (I had a couple of vegetarian guests), added a salad option free of charge, checked our preference of plates/paper boats for serving the food, and scheduled a time to come by our wedding site to sort out any parking issues. Now, about the food. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Everyone at our wedding commented on how they loved the food and also the experience of a food truck. Mark and his team were all smiles the whole time and made dinner extra fun for everyone. My absolute favorite dish was dessert–turon with a scoop of ube ice cream. I feel comfortable saying it is to die for. There was extra food at the end of service and Mark packed up several to-go boxes for us/our guests to enjoy over the next couple of days (and we sure did!). I fell in love with Filipino food in Hawaii and it was a sweet nod to the state where my husband and I met and fell in love. Sorry for writing a book, but I have so many good things to say. Absolutely hire Lola’s to cater any event you have coming up or just visit their food truck a meal! Wonderful people and spectacular food.

Deee-frickin-licious!! Love supporting small businesses. A little confusing as to where/how to order as they get their signage up. But the food and service is astounding! I hope word gets out and this place stays.

Had a lot of high hopes since this is one of the only places to get filipino food in CHS, as a half filipina myself— in my personal opinion— The lumpia was good, but immediately I was a little disappointed that there were no Filipinos working the truck. But i get it, shortage and we’re in the lowcountry. I tried the tocino, chicken pancit plate, and siopao. It was really expensive, and the rice was a little undercooked. The tocino was not red and sweet, but brown and lacked flavor. The woman working the truck was mispronouncing all of the dishes. Everything kind of looked like Chinese food and tasted similar. It’s okay! And the lumpia is worth it (we got pork). But as a filipina, I am a little sad because it lacks a bit of authenticity in my opinion. But it may just be because they cook in such a large volume. No hate. Just my opinion

I’ve tried Lola’s a few times since they started up in what…2019? And the quality has only increased. Their tasty pancit is loaded with vegetables that you can tell are super fresh. The chicken adobo was tender and soo yum! The real surprise for me though was the chicken lumpia! I got all 3 flavors cuz who doesn’t love Lumpia but I really didn’t think the chicken would be the star of the show. I usually go for pork. But ZOMG…the fresh ginger in that chicken lumpia (and I’m not even a fan of ginger which means I’ve probably never had real good fresh ginger before) made it so amazing that I will be getting that from now on! Sorry, pork! 10/10 will order again!

Lola’s Lumpia is straight-up soul food on wheels. If you’ve never had Filipino lumpia before, this is the place that’ll make you fall in love—and if you have had it, this will ruin all other lumpia for you (in the best way possible).

The food is always hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. The lumpia is hand-rolled perfection—crispy on the outside, savory and juicy inside. You can tell it’s made with love and tradition. The pancit? Fire. The sauces? Homemade and addictive. And they always have something new or seasonal to keep things interesting.

Beyond the food, what really sets Lola’s apart is the heart. The owners are warm, welcoming, and passionate about their culture and craft. Every interaction feels personal, like you’re part of the family. This isn’t just a food truck—it’s a local treasure that makes every event, festival, or lunch stop better.

Support this truck. Bring your friends. Tell your coworkers. It deserves all the love, and your taste buds will thank you.

These pics are for POSEIDON’S PLAYGROUND. NOT LOLA’S. Poseidon’s Playground food is always good. They have the best Birria I’ve had in this area. Something as simple as crinkle cut fries are crispy well seasoned and taste so good fresh! Bussin!!!

Reneka and her team are a team sent from above. I worked in property management and would have them come to our properties. Amazing food EVERY time. One of the only reasons I miss moving back up north. This is THE best food truck in the area without a doubt. 100/10

We pre ordered our food for an event we were attending. I must admit the price of the plates are ridiculously expensive. Being Filipino, I had high expectations. Unfortunately the fried rice tasted like soy sauce and the rice was hard. The pancit tasted like salt and vinegar. Almost spoiled. The chicken was drowned in soy sauce as well so it was just too much salt overall. I had two bites and couldn’t eat anymore. The lumpia was crunchy but also too salty. The best part about this truck, advanced ordering.
