This is a new, but very rough Wendy’s, particularly if you dine in. It’s amazing how quickly an essentially brand new restaurant can’t get filthy. I dined in for breakfast two weeks ago for four days in a row. Not once during that time did anyone clean the dining room floor. There was trash on the floor that did not move for four days.

I preferred when Wendy’s was located in the John Rolfe Commons Shopping Center. Not sure why they chose to move locations AND remodel the space vs remodeling the space they were situated in.
This new location is very nicely designed. I enjoy eating on the patio in the summer time. I am also a fan of the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. The staff is friendly and almost always provides extra sauces without being asked.

Ordered a Jr bacon cheeseburger biggie bag that was all fine also ordered a double baconator which for some odd reason only had 2 pieces of bacon on it. Ordered the 4 piece tender combo and these arent tenders they are barely bigger then chicken fries. Absolutely pathetic

I was warned. When I told the Wendy’s in Short Pump I was going to try their new Patterson location they said, “It’s a different owner so it will be like John Rolfe, not us ” The new Patterson location looks great but actually has worse service than John Rolfe did. Multiple problems placing our order and then it was presented as to go despite our eat in, the chili packed at the bottom of the bag on its side leaking, the wrong hamburger, no salad dressing, they were out, no apples in the apple chicken salad, no lemonade or other drinks, they were out, no utensils for chili or salad, no bbq sauce, they were out. Rather than my order for chili as my side they charged me $3. It was worth $3 just to leave. This is a reminder that a great new building isn’t enough and how important the owner and the employees are in making a difference. Note- Noise level is high here. No assistance for seniors or disabled customers.

Went through the drive-thru (late) and it took a little longer than expected, but Makaila (i think?) was AMAZING! She was so sweet, made sure we got everything, and gave us extra sauces. Coming from an ex-Wendy’s worker, i was shocked by her service. 10/10 made my night!

Wow, This place, this Wendys is TERRIBLE. Had to wait at drive up window WAY TOO long & nobody else was there but me. All of their emplyoyees are angry & incpmpetant .Ordered NO pickles & got extra pickles. on the sloppy put together burger. Fries & burger were cold & the BBQ sauce for the Chicken nuggetts smelled like BO. I would give a ZERO rating here , if I were allowed to. This place is just as bad as the one that used to be on John Rolf Pkwy

I have not been to a Wendy’s in several years because they are generally very disgusting – filthy dining rooms, filthy restrooms and sandwiches that are slapped together. Recently I went through the drive-through of the Wendy’s on Patterson Avenue in Richmond, Virginia, just to get a Frosty. The female employee working the drive-through that night was clearly was mad at the world, and I was in it. Except for asking to take my order, she did not say a word to me. She also did not give me a receipt or a spoon for my Frosty. When I had the audacity to ask for a spoon and a receipt, she did not say a word, but seemed really annoyed that I asked for those items. I basically got the silent treatment and she wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. Thanks to her, I will never visit another Wendy’s again. Ever. Her attitude basically confirmed how I have felt about Wendy’s for the last several years. They are unappetizing restaurants with extremely poor, and often rude, service. Among the several fast food restaurants I patronize, they consistently prove themselves to be the worst managed with the lowest standards for food service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

The newer location on Patterson is nice inside (though I didn’t go in the bathroom). However, the food at all Wendy’s is mediocre (but better than some other fast food places), and the service at this location is getting worse and worse. The guy taking my order didn’t sound like he even wanted to be there and like it was a bother to him to take my order. I got all the way home to discover they didn’t put the correct things on the burger, so then I had to waste time and gas to drive all the way back to get a correct burger. The girl came to the window, asked for the first burger, then handed me the correct burger without another word. No apology, no free anything for my time and gas, nothing.

We only order from this location so I can’t speak about the atmosphere or workers’ attitudes. We’ve ordered about 5 times now and something is always missing or wrong. Tonight we didn’t receive the salad.
I was giving this location the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe the driver left a bag at the store or in their car. But then I came here to leave a review and saw ALL the negative reviews.
Whoever owns this place needs to sell it to someone who loves to own a business and make money. You are failing.
