They didn’t open until noon so we almost missed them. There menu and selection is limited but that’s helps in making a decision. For lunch we had the green Chile quiche which was fantastic. It came with a salad, a muffin and some apple slices. We had to pace ourselves since we really came for the pie. To be honest, I was disappointed in the new Mexico Apple pie which contained green Chile and pinons. There was no green Chile flavor or even a slight hint of heat. I only saw maybe 3-4 pinions also. U think it could have been awesome but it’s lacked flavor. The apple part was good but needed at least more cinnamon since it has no flavor from the other mentioned ingredients. However, the top winner was the chocolate brownie cheesecake. Oh my! It was richly chocolate flavor and has an amazing presentation. The staff was helpful and courteous and our experience was worthy of a return future visit .

Great atmosphere! Lovely, friendly staff. Highly recommend this place, we had eaten earlier so only got pie. I had the cherry almond, she had the peaches and cream, both were fantastic! I enjoyed the old photographs of the town I the autumn of 1940. Take a minute and look at the exhibits….

The staff were friendly and helpful. Even while they were short staffed, they still managed to get my food out in a reasonable time, bearing in mind the food is made to order. It’s a little ways off the beaten trail, but worth it, if you want to stop in the desert for a piece of pie.

Delicious! Great service, warm welcome. The shop itself is super cute and has a great vibe. We tried the blueberry lemon and oh wow was it delicious! Definitely worth stopping in Pie Town and trying out these homemade delicacies!

Best ever pizza and pie! Crust is as phenomenal as the filling. Friendly local patrons Susan & Bobby gave me a slice of their pizza to try without even knowing me! You have to go and get some!

Pie? Get. It. HERE! Been here multiple times, loved it every time. You might need to wait a bit, so come with a relaxed “I am on vacation” mindset. We had three different pies – all of them were the bomb! . Barb ordered a whole pie the day before (PRO tip! Want a whole pie? ORDER IN ADVANCE). The Turkey dumplings? “Thanksgiving dinner in a bowl” -JH. Come just before lunch and stay a while… and then go visit the VLA and see the stars! BTW: The coffee was great! Strong and tasted on point. …And a shout out to Pietown Fire & EMS for a great name and an awesome T-Shirt.

And for those that were wondering, yes we went home with a whole pie: Pumpkin Crème Brûlée… Stunning.

If you want some pie you have to visit Pie Town. So if you are traveling down US Highway 60 in New Mexico stop and grab some pie . We stopped and visited Pie Town Pie Town. I ate the cherry pie and I will admit it was one of the best. They also have entrees such as pizza or BLT. This is pie town.. so eat the pie first.. They have an assortment of pies so whatever you enjoy, I am sure they will have it. They also have a Pie Festival on the second Saturday in September.

Wonderful people. Very friendly and welcoming and inviting. Sarah is friendly and very helpful. I’m delighted to have her as a friend and neighbor. The pies are delicious. I didn’t get to try them all but so far My favorite is the French caramel coconut. Thank you Sarah for the warm welcoming hospitality and Josiah. Thank you for letting us park the trailer there over the weekend and being so welcoming to the community. I’m glad to have you as a neighbor. Be blessed.
