I went here with a group of friends for a dinner on a Friday evening. This is in Windsor town centre and it serves halal meat which we appreciated.
We enjoyed the sushi platters, food quality and the service were good. Bao buns were yum.
Have previously been for breakfast which was also very nice but not sure if they still do breakfast.
If you want sushi with friends in Windsor/slough/maidenhead area – would recommend trying Intoku

Stopped here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed.
I was welcomed nicely at the door and seated promptly. Food is well presented and delicious. I highly recommend.
The restaurant is cozy, charming and beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms. They also had really nice tunes playing in the background.

In short the food is a hit or miss but what made me leave this review was the dismal service, though I am unsure if the poor service was a one-time off thing just randomly exclusive to my experience.

We bought drinks but also asked for tap water as we had spent a while outside exploring Windsor and were parched. Besides the food taking quite a while to come, what was worse was that until the end of the meal, we had not received any tap water despite asking three more times. Not too sure if this was just us as we saw some (but not all) other tables receiving tap water, but it was striking that while all tables came with empty glasses for tap water, some of the glasses of other tables remained empty as well. By the time we left the restaurant we had not had tap water.

When it came to getting the bill and paying, we asked another separate three times and waited for so long that we nearly missed our train. In the end, we had to get up from the table and went straight to the cash desk to settle the bill. It was a slightly busy evening with the restaurant half full, but it was frustrating that at some times the staff were just standing around or tidying things, and it seemed like they fully forgot our request to get the bill and pay despite our reminders.

This is in spite of the waiters and staff being quite friendly and nice in general, and the ambience of the restaurant, as well as the selection of food was good. I particularly enjoyed their sushi as it was presented in a cute style, tasty and utilised unique ingredients. We also tried their recommended “bokchoy” ramen, it was not really Japanese ramen but rather a Southeast Asian inspired take on a noodle dish. We were much more disappointed by the twist than pleasantly surprised. Buckwheat noodles were used instead of ramem noodles and they were soggy and overcooked; the beef broth which was apparently boiled for 48 hours lacked flavour; the marinated onsen egg which usually comes with ramen was a plain hard boiled half egg.

Overall the food was not great with the exception of the sushi and it was disappointing that the service didn’t match the beautiful setting of the restaurant. We paid 70+ pounds for two people and were unsatisfied with the overall experience, though Intoku might still be worth a try if you want exposure to Asian food.

Food was good & fast service. Situated in the Windsor Royal station. The restaurant was fairly quiet & easy to get a table Sunday lunchtime. The food was very tasty & fairly good value for Windsor as a touristic area. Some of the main dishes are enough for 2 people to share if ordering starters or a couple of dishes. Staff were friendly & open kitchen to see food being prepared. For an idea of prices – Bill for 2 people around £72 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 fruit juices, small bottle of water, Jasmine tea & a coffee

The food at this Japanese restaurant was great and we really enjoyed it. We were going to give 5 stars, but the experience was spoiled by one staff member. She repeatedly offered our child a mochi, even after he said no twice, then she kept asking “strawberry or chocolate,” which seemed kind at first so we were like ok, get a chocolate one as the lady is nice and thought it was free, but it ended up on the bill!! The same thing happened to the table next to us. I know it’s only a few pounds, but still, please don’t force customers to accept items if they’re not complimentary, it’s misleading and frustrating.

Today was a very busy day in Windsor so we were looking for a nice quiet place to eat and we passed Intoku. We eat with our eyes especially me. I look at pictures of the food and if I like the look of it I will order it. Something simple and quick for lunch. I ordered the Batchoy with steak noodles and the Halo Halo and my partner ordered the burger. The picture shows a nice gourmet burger and he got served a burger van burger. He said this is the best way he can describe what he got. For me the Batchoy is nothing especial. Really could do with more seasonings and black pepper on top and better quality noodles. I was looking forward more for the Halo Halo. The ice needs to be a little more finer, needs more milk and lacking of sweet ingredients that makes the Halo Halo.
Other than that, Thank you to Amilia for a great service!

Really enjoyed my visit to Windsor Intoku — the food was full of flavour and came out looking amazing. The sweet chilli chicken was a standout, perfectly cooked with just the right balance of sweetness and heat. The Paitan ramen was just as impressive, with a rich, creamy broth and generous toppings that made it feel like a proper comforting bowl.
The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Service was quick without feeling rushed, which made the whole experience even better.
Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to anyone wanting a great meal in Windsor.

We had an amazing experience at Intoku Windsor! The food was absolutely delicious – the sushi, noodles, ramen, and chicken katsu curry were all outstanding plus the the very amazing Halo halo. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive – the staff were warm, attentive, and really took care of us from start to finish. It made the whole lunch moment so enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for excellent Japanese food & Pan Asian and wonderful hospitality!

We had a lovely lunch at this beautiful restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The chef came out to talk to customers which I love! The food was very tasty, cooked with fresh ingredients. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The prices are higher than the average but its worth the tasty fresh food and the service. I will definitely return.
