Being from Texas, I am super picky about bbq. None of it is good enough. The sides are never like Texas sides so I have given up eating bbq in Pennsylvania
But we were looking for somewhere new to go .So tried Pappy Qs
Very nicely surprised and satisfied.

What a great find ! Happened across Pappy’s on the way home from the local orchard. Just really great BBQ and Seafood place. The regular platter is a meat and two sides, get the chili as a side and you wont be disappointed. There’s an all you can eat special no kidding! … Neat stuff from the bayou, Alligator Po Boy, Generous Shrimp Cocktail. Crab LEgs and CrawDads too. The BBQ was great. Ribs, Brisket, and pulled pork. The owners were friendly, and worked hard to keep everything moving on a busy night. Prices were good too ! Smokey goodness all the way around, going back to try the wings next time !!!

Food is amazing both the seafood and bbq meats. Atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Very relaxed vibe. Portions are hefty. This is truly a hidden gem. All you can eat specials. Family friendly. Handicapped accessible. Dine in or take out.

had lunch there. crab soup cold and too buttery. soft shell crab tiny on two pieces of bread. for 14 dollars. sides are separate. pulled pork served with a hard long rolll. worse meal ever. owner outside smoking and then goes back to cook. 4 percent added for debit card.

Wonderful little place in Jacobus, PA. I had the all you can eat meal. It included brisket, crab legs, steamed shrimp, bbq chicken, fried shrimp, hush puppies, ribs, and fries. All of it was really good! The brisket, crab legs, and shrimp were my favorite. My Mom (and the owners 1st grade teacher), had the fried oyster platter with a salad and lobster & crab bisque soup. She said it was excellent. My son had the kids chicken finger meal and gave it two ’s up. I posted a picture of the all you can eat meal.

I was ready to fully support this business, but my first visit I was served raw alligator. I was told they ran out of thawed gator and had to use frozen. I don’t know how they thought that was a good idea, I could have gotten very sick. I got a cheaper sandwich as a replacement, but was not refunded the difference. The chips served with were all crumbs smaller than a corn kernel. A very big let down… I’m only giving a 2nd star because they seem involved in the community.
