Delicious food and beverages. Super flavorful and filling. Horchata was one of the better ones I’ve tried in Portland. They do offer non alcoholic beverages/mocktails. We went around 3pm on a Saturday and there was only 3 other tables with people. Great staff, attentive and polite.

Delicious food and a fun ambiance. The red sauce for the carnitas enchiladas was my favorite. We tried a fun elote mezcal that was fire as well. Ceviche was a good but I prefer a minced style versus whole shrimp. Prepared well tho! Service was a little slow but there was only one person staffed, they were nice and professional.

La Cocina was one of my favorite places in PDX, with a really cozy atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. I’ll go ahead and say that this isn’t the place if you’re in a rush, but if you have the time, they’ll make it worth your while! I got their street tacos, one chicken and one asada, and they had a great selection of salsas to go with them. Unfortunately, I only got a picture of my tacos because apparently we were all too hungry to wait before digging in. The prices were very reasonable and the menu had a lot of variety, so I definitely recommend checking them out!

Wonderful dining experience. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, the vibe is fantastic, and all the food is delicious. They also have plenty of margarita flavors, if that’s your thing. The enchiladas are a menu offering I’d highly recommend.

Food is amazing. Authentic and fresh. I would go every month if you live in Portland. Enchilada poblanos was delicious. The sauce on top is so good! Nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather too.

This was my first time at La Cocina Restaurant, and I will definitely be back! The service was friendly, the drinks were great (and strong, lol), and the food was delicious! The portions were big, and I was full before I was even halfway done. I’m not mad having to take leftovers home because it was that good! Great prices for big portions! I’m very happy with this place.

Truly a favorite. My partner and I found it early on when we moved to Portland and it’s some of the best Mexican style food we’ve found. It’s definitely got that Portland influence as I see some fun ingredients the times we’ve gone. The food is delicious and you can’t go wrong with anything from their menu. My all time favorite is the alambre and it can easily be shared by two people. Definitely order more than you will eat to take home and eat later.
