This is by far the best Greek place I’ve went too. Our waitress Abby was great, attentive and friendly. We had the 7 layer dip..a must have, so much flavor never had hummus that good and spicy feta. I got the falafel which tastes home made not frozen or preheated. The lemon potatoes were also good. The lamb gyro was tasty and filling. We definitely couldn’t finish everything. We also had Manuel clear our tables with his friendly personality. Definitely going there again great experience and food was def a 10.

Well…. Where to start. Let me just say the service was fine. Very pleasant and helpful but unfortunately that is all that was good. I spent $30 and it was the biggest waste of money for takeout I have spent. I ordered something called the jack of all Gyros, and let me tell you it wasn’t even a duece.for starters they top it with some type of cheese but it was burnt so bad that I couldn’t even tell you it’s cheese. Next there was supposed to be a siracha infuse tsaziki sauce and there was no sauce on it or on the side, it was as dry as my grandfathers scalp. The soup that I got with it was chicken orzo was so salty I had one spoon of it and it burned my tongue. The only decent thing that came with it was the green beans and had to use the juice to put on the main dish just to soften it up. What a waste of $. Could’ve went next door to taco bell and enjoyed my meal. If you like Greek there are better places within reach from this place. Go there

❌ Extremely disappointing experience. This place falsely advertises itself as a “taverna,” but in reality it’s just a regular, casual restaurant — no music, no ambiance, nothing remotely festive.

We ordered a shrimp dish priced at $30 and received only 4 small shrimp. Not jumbo, not a large portion, just 4 tiny pieces on a plate. Since they constantly bother us to bring the main course we had to take it to go. Thats why realized the portion later on. We were expecting a tavern to have our mezes, music and fun by taking our time. When we questioned the bill (which didn’t match the menu prices), the server said that was the “cash price” — no such disclaimer was made clear before.

Staff was uninterested and rolling eyes all the time. The entire experience felt like a tourist trap. Avoid at all costs.

I’m stopping by to get food nobody helps everybody’s just laughing together especially the guy with the little diamond on the on his ears. All the adults are there. no explanation or customer experience. on top of that they have the audacity to ask for a tip at checkout
Do not stop if you care about customer service, these people literally do not care
This place has been going downhill for a couple years now this has been the last time I’m pulling in and the prices I’ve been through the roof

A hidden Gem in Commack. Great food and the best staff /Owners. Great for Appetizers, Seafood, and Gyro platters. Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Desserts are a must. Excellent new location! Highly recommended!!!

The service was 5 star. The location and the look is 5 star. The signage around the restaurant gives you lots of table conversation and laughs reading it outloud. You do get a lot of food. Warm pita and hummus to start that’s provided is good, salty but good. That’s all I can say that is positive.

I’ve been meaning to go to this restaurant for quite some time and finally had the chance. The orzo appetizer which is complementary tasted like Spaghetti o’s (if you know, you know)
We ordered the Greek meatball Appetizer and it was falling apart and extremely greasy. It didn’t have parsley or mint like it’s supposed to. The lemon soup was thick like pudding and only had rice. There was no chicken or vegetables in there.
My guest ordered a chicken platter… it was labeled as slouvaki but was more like chicken donner which was not even on the menu. It was OVER SALTED. the lemon potatoes were so dark I thought at first glance they were sweet potatoes. They were in a side cup and extremely oily. That I was actually shocked at the amount.

I ordered the chicken stuffed with some kind of cheese and spinach but omg it was covered with the previously mentioned soup as a sauce. I also had the potatoes.

Why we wrapped the food to go was actually a mystery bc neither was going to eat it at home. It basically was to not make the waitress feel bad bc she deserves better for her service.

I’m convinced that the place succeeded since 2019 bc people that are going there don’t know any better. Compare to Greektown in Rockville Center or Gyro Palace in Merrick. Worth the ride.

Owners putting shame on their Yai-yai

Now that Iv calmed down, I can explain myself. I came to pick up an order for my father. Funny thing is my father doesn’t like this restaurant. He orders food here for my mother and myself because we enjoy it . .. this day he asked me to pick up the food . The young girl behind the Counter was so sweet and gave me the food. Mona snatched that food interrogated me. had attitude disrespectful, very unprofessional…..all for what? Picking up an order????, …. So I told my father ..he was very happy ! he said even better we don’t have to go there anymore then ! So because of Mona’s attitude they lost 3 customers.. I would expect better from a manager. if she don’t like her job, somebody else could do it better. there’s plenty of people looking for work

Strongly NOT recommended!!!
Chicken souvlaki platter was salty and dry, roasted lemon potatoes were extremely oily and salty as well, fries looked like leftovers. I guess people go there for the drinks.
