HighWire’s Christmas pop-up bar in downtown Tucson is pure holiday magic. ✨ We popped in just to take photos and ended up staying because the whole space is such a vibe — twinkly lights, festive décor everywhere, and endless little corners perfect for Christmassy photo ops. It’s fun, cute, and totally worth a stop if you’re trying to soak up some holiday spirit in Tucson. Loved it!

Had a fun time. Second visit. Went 2024 to their Drag Brunch and it was fun but hot(early summer). This time was just hanging at the bar. Very slow but enjoyed chatting with the bartender the whole time. Fun cocktails. Will definitely be doing Drag Brunch again this summer.

My favorite bartender Savanna always makes the best drinks and is a great hostess each night. I ordered the Signature Cocktail “The Magician,” and she demonstrated excellent mixologist skills, crafting the beverage in about a minute. Each item on the menu offers a unique flavor to experience each night of the week. The ambiance of HighWire bar and grill offers a quiet space to drink during the day, and a raging fire to dance alongside during the evening. I recommend personally asking for Savanna the next time you want to visit HighWire for a drink and smile, or any of the other amazing staff.

The service at this bar is very unfortunate. They display as an high end bar but are very dull, service is very poor. No wonder why it is often dead compared to other bars in the area. I would think twice before coming to this location, there are far better bars in the area with excellent service, cheaper, and stronger drinks. Avoid!

Tito’s and tonic ar $9 fifty each.
Drinks are weak and you have to stay at the bar otherwise they will take it…
Bartender was alone with a lot of people but should have been faster and more attentive…..
..
Some really nice people, but a lot of flamboyant as well…

Highwire is always a vibe!! I’m hopping on here because I am a regular chamoy pearl shot connoisseur but last night I tried their pearl shot of the month which was blueberry lemonade and it was 10/10. The blue pearl exploded and it wasn’t harsh and didn’t have the alcohol aftertaste. The lemonade chaser added the perfect sourness, it felt like I was eating a gusher so yummy. Please add it to your menu permanently <3

Overpriced drinks, lots of tables saved for ‘reserved’ people that never show. Purchasing a spot at a table is…not a very Tucson vibe. Cool location between some of the taller downtown buildings, access in an alley.

Dangerous location in a dark seedy ally. The bartenders have a bad attitudes especially the one with the redhead very rude. Tried their brunch and it was okay but nothing you can’t do at home or find nearby for a better quality. This place is Expensive for such poor quality food they used basic loaf bread for French toast at first it was a very large plate of about 6 slices. Ordered it again and it was on a very small plate and then missing many ingredients and it was the same price. Tacos are salty and sour from too much pickled onions and they fall apart because the taco shells are not cooked well and they only serve one shell per taco and don’t have salsa at all. Went back again to try their dinner menu A friend tried the ribs they were black and chard and hard as a rock completely inedible.
We ordered the flank steak and it was hard as a rock we couldn’t even eat it. The drinks were okay but $15 and up. And the spoon shots were way over rated they taste terrible. For a molecular gastronomy bar they don’t do nearly as much as you would imagine.
The Night life gets boring after several hours they only play Reggaeton so if you want to go out and dance to anything else you’ll have to go to IBTs or the Neighborhood. Not to mention they will let just about anyone in this place face tattoos and all especially with the gangs and violence going on they really don’t do their best to protect their patrons. Rumor has it they’ve been featured on TMZ Tucson multiple times for having legal issues in their establishment.
