This is our family’s favorite Korean BBQ restaurant. It’s always clean with a nice, fancy atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly friendly. We especially love ordering the B Set because it comes with unlimited appetizers, LA galbi, and even an automatic ramen machine, which makes the experience even better. We’ve tried many all-you-can-eat BBQ places, but the meat quality here is far superior to others, so we’re always satisfied. It’s also the perfect place to make plans for the holiday season.

Gogi Go is one of the better Asian food options in Fredericksburg. The prices are pretty high for the quality of meats you’re getting compared to other Korean bbqs up north. The kalbi and steaks were pretty good and I did enjoy the different sides. The brisket and pork belly were a miss as the taste and quality were not good. We also didnt like how our table is shared with another party and they were constantly bumping into us when they were eating or getting up. Our server was extremely friendly and did a superb job.

I think I cried tears of joy it was so good ! Quality service unexceptional I wished I had more funds to tip more ! I love them because I’ve always disliked Korean bbq the few times I’ve tried it but this LAWD OF MERCY ! Hold on HURRY PUT THEM SHOES ON AND GO !! 29/35 pp for dinner JUST AMAZING! I just ate here and had an amazing experience. Sharon , our waiter, provided spectacular customer service—friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience even better. The food was absolutely outstanding, easily some of the best Korean barbecue I’ve ever had. Hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots I’ve been to. Strongly recommended!

Ann was our waitress this particular evening and she was amazing! We have been here a few times now and have not had a bad experience yet! The menu has 2 options A and B normally we get A and eat until we are stuffed. This time we got B. If anyone in your group wants B then everyone gets B. The whole menu of appetizers is available with B at no extra expense we found out. They give you a little cup and a jug of ice water and any other beverage has a bigger cup. They give you an assortment of sides and a dish of white rice. As you order your choice of meat it cooks right there at the table to your desired doneness. This is becoming a staple date for us!

I have been to Gogi Go easily 10+ times now since this time last year. Every time the food has been incredible with a constantly growing menu and the staff has been attentive to every need or concern. Certainly have had a problem here or there but with how quick the staff is ready to assist I cannot dare take any stars off. Love this place!

Goji Go is one of my favorite dinner spots in Fredericksburg. I return probably at least once a month. For the amount of food and how good it is, it’s worth a return visit! In a sea of fast food chains and Mexican restaurants, it’s also a gem to find some Korean food in this area, which is shocking considering we aren’t far from NoVA. I’ve had KBBQ in other areas of the US, and this is definitely a toned down version of it, but I still really appreciate what we have here.
After reading some of the other reviews, I have to wonder if people have been to AYCE settings before, since many of them mention rules that Goji Go has in place that are commonplace in every other KBBQ setting I’ve had – requirements of same meal “plan” selection, charging for leftover food, time limits, no doggy bags.
Make sure you get here before 7, or it will be packed, which should tell you how excited people are for this food regularly. It’s a pretty average KBBQ set up, but with a more open setting as opposed to intimate booths I’ve seen elsewhere. There’s a newly updated ramen wall and TVs showing kpop dance shows. There’s a gorgeous mural on one of the walls, and if you’re a tech nut, there’s also a little robot that occasionally makes a turn about with meats delivered to specific tables. All of the servers are incredible, and we’ve never had an out of turn experience – we are provided everything we need and more, even with how busy they can get.
There is a bibimbap salad bar and an ice cream machine, and you’ll get a bowl of rice and opportunity for appetizers, but don’t let that stray you from the real thing you should be getting, which is the meat! I always recommend starting with the brisket, getting a side of ssamjang and lettuce. Ask for more pickled raddish an 100% ask for more cucumber kimchi – it’s the real star of the banchan. I think that having the greens helps offset “the meat sweats,” and allows you to have more meat. Spicy pork and spicy pork belly are the true stars of the show. The marinated chicken is awesome, and the LA Galbi is nice if you want to invest a little more $. Make sure you grill your kimchi, too! The one rule I will break as a side is to get corn cheese. There’s just something about the flavor that helps offset all the meat. My husband loves pairing all this with a sapporo, and I will forever get a kick out of what we call “the frog water” pitchers that have the Jinro/Tera toad on them to refill your drinks with.
Highly recommend dipping in salt and sesame oil for the unmarinated meats. I do wish they offered more seafood options and that at least one steak option was offered for the cheaper “plan,” but if that’s worst I can come up with, perhaps you should try it for yourself and see what a stellar experience this is. After all, you can top it off with some ice cream on your way out the door!
Edit 8/2025 – Just coming back to continue singing Gogi Go’s praises. They’ve adjusted their menu prices and added more options! This is still my fave dinner spot and even though another KBBQ opened up, my loyalty still lies with Gogi Go!

Great food, similar to actual Korean Peninsula. If you want traditional Korean Somac, ask for the fresh flavor ju and terra and the short glasses and a shot glass separate from the pre-mixed somac on the menu. Ann and Kyle were awesome! Definitely recommend!!! Check out my brand new bad@SS shirt!
