The food here is full of flavor and the portions are generous, especially for the Korean BBQ and samgyupsal. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly, making it a really enjoyable meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, great for both small groups and family dinners. It’s definitely a spot worth coming back to when craving authentic Korean food

This is hard because it used to be 2 hours, great quality/service, and not as rule heavy/stringent.

Went here on a Thursday night at 6:30pm with 7 full grown adult men with a reservation – don’t recommend as they sat us at a table meant for 4 people and kept the same rules of only ordering 3 meat dishes at a time with only 1 set of cheesy corn and soup.

Idk if it was the specific table they sat us in but the fan for the smoke was really loud as it made a rickety sound when turned on. There was only 1 other family in there so it definitely wasn’t busy.

The biggest disappointment is that IT WAS NOT 1.5 HOURS!!! They cut you off from ordering at the 1 hour mark. I literally looked at my watch and it was 7:30pm. When our server told us this was the last order, I had to bring up that the website says 1.5 hours, and she handed me a menu with that same advertisement but there was a whiteout marker on the “ordering time” part of the note. KPot gives you the full 2 hours to order food. Definitely not what was advertised.

Remember that they include the 18% gratuity on the check – they purposefully didn’t show that on there and masked it as “service fee.” You DO NOT HAVE TO TIP EXTRA.

Service: our waitress seemed carefree and kept forgetting our meat orders (kept having to come back and ask which 3 meats we ordered again). Although competent, she only refilled our water pitcher when asked (and again, we had 7 men that literally emptied the water pitcher every time she brought back a refill). She did refill our side dishes as asked so that was good. But it just seemed like the bare minimum; if we didn’t ask, she wouldn’t have done it. If I was a server, I would ensure my customer’s food were always refilled or ask if they’d like them refilled.

We were able to order 4 rounds of food, so 12 dishes of meat for 7 people. You decide if that was enough food or not. We didn’t.

Overall, quality of meats and banchans were good for a KBBQ experience but for AYCE, you can get your money’s worth at other chains like KPot or AIOE.

Most likely won’t be back.

I have not had the all you can eat bbq. We always order off the menu, and it never disappoints. The Kimchi Jeegae is my favorite! The grilled items are very good too. Wish I lived a little closer so I could eat there more!

I’ve come to Choga ever since I was a little girl. Recently, my dining experience has been rather disappointing. Nothing like I used to remember. It was so empty in there as well. Our waitress didn’t really come and check on us to refill our drinks. Our food was warm/hot. Their seafood pancake is increased in price by a lot but there’s quite a bit of squid. Maybe like 4-5 pieces of shrimp. Their bento is still good! For $15 for galbi is such a good deal. To get banchan, you must order soup. Their kimchi was really spicey but not very flavorful. It’s as if they didn’t let it ferment long enough. Their bean sprouts were non very seasoned too. I’d still come back for their good lunch specials! Other than that, I don’t think I’d come back for their regular menu! Dishes were decently quick to come out though.

Food: 3.7/5

Great service, our server was super sweet and attentive. We got the $32.99 Korean bbq option and they had a good selection of meats. Really loved the marinated meats, but don’t bother getting the non-marinated ones unless you season them well (beef tongue, rib).

All the sides options were great, and we got super full that we didn’t even need refills on anything. You also get cheesy corn and your choice of soup, either kimchi or soybean soup. Will be back for sure! Great dining experience overall.

Came here because I wanted to check out the Korean food in the area. Our praty of 3 did not opt for the AYCE bbq. When we arrived on a weekday for dinner, it was pretty empty so I would say no need to make reservations. The vibe is a no frills place. Oddly too quiet, they should’ve played some music or something. There were lots of people coming in and out for pick ups so perhaps that’s what this place is known for.

We ordered a variety of things. All in all, the food wasn’t bad. They had a good variety of banchans. (Only allowed 1 refill of each though? Saddened my Korean heart). The stew we got was great. Maybe the prices were a bit high?

All in all, I had a good experience. Not sure if I’d go back again (would be curious to try other Korean restaurants in the area) but I do commend their authentic dishes!

Bulgogi was some of the best I’ve ever had. Sides were pretty alright and there were several. The soup was a bit bland for me and was seved boiling hot. Service was good. The vibe of the place was kind of off though. Lights were super dim and it had a warehouse feel to it.

Food was good, portion sizes today was fine. Only one girl running the whole thing and she was great. Just a small note to add courtesy of the owner there is now a 10 dollar service fee added to every check and not including a tip. Just one thing after another with the rude and upsetting owner. The owner takes the tips and the servers are terrified to speak or even take cash in front of the owner.

My friends and I were delighted to visit this Korean restaurant when we were in the mood for some Korean cuisine. The chilly weather was the perfect backdrop for warming Korean stews, and we were excited to try out this place.

To avoid any confusion, I had checked out the menu beforehand and decided on the 21. Samgaetang (whole cornish hen soup). Fortunately, they had one serving left, and I was lucky enough to get it. My friend ordered Yukejang, kimchi jeegae, and other delectable dishes that I can’t recall by name but are visible in the photos. I must mention that the particular soup I chose is usually served during warmer weather to cool the body down, so the flavors are mild, herbal, and refreshing. It’s not as bold as the explosive flavors of kimchi jeegae, but it’s more like the Korean version of a nourishing chicken soup that’s perfect for soothing the soul.

In conclusion, we received excellent service, and the food was delightful. I’m eager to return and try out their other soups and stews, which I’m sure are just as wonderful.

Honestly, not much for decor on the inside, but who cares because the food was absolutely delicious!!
I’m cool with a business saving money on decoration if they have quality product, and this restaurant has great quality with tremendous flavor!
We did the Korean barbecue buffet all you can eat for $32 a piece for four of us, and it was absolutely incredible. And of course it’s fun to get to cook your own protein as well!
