Stopped in for lunch on a recent drive down I-69. It’s been years since I ate at Wendy’s and wifey said it sounded good.
When we walked in we were the only customers, so we went right up to the counter to place our orders. I instinctively ordered a Double with fries and a drink. Wifey wanted Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, but it wasn’t found on the menu. (seriously, it wasn’t on the menu board). So she decided to get a Jr. Baconator with a couple adjustments.
Our food came out pretty quickly. Mine was correct, but wifey’s sandwich was missing the bacon (What part of ‘Baconator’ doesn’t include bacon?). She had to go back up to the counter to have that fixed, which they did in short order. My burger was correct and the fries were good, but there’s something about Wendy’s fries that’s always lacking to me.
The drink machine is one of those machines with literally every soft drink on earth and some you haven’t heard of. Dr. Pepper is always my choice and Wifey wanted iced tea (Gold Peak). The Dr. Pepper was fine, but the tea…wasn’t. It was iced tea, but also had other soft drink flavors in it. Just a hint, but enough to make her not want to drink it. She went back and was going to get Coke® instead, but *what luck* it was out of Coke®. So she had to settle for water. She paid for a medium soft only to end up getting water.
While we were sitting there she happened to look out the window to see a window cling *advertising the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger*…the one that wasn’t listed anywhere on the menu board.
The restaurant was clean and the staff we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. There were, however, a few things that made this a particularly lackluster visit.

Incredibly slow service. Only able to take 1 car order at a time at a busy time with 4 plus employees easily visible and not paying attention. Drive through attendant was texting on his phone while we got there to pay.

I stop at this location almost almost every morning, but this morning I sat for a lot longer. I was the only car in the drive through. No big deal, but I waited patiently, was polite, and STILL received the wrong order. I didn’t get my orange juice, my French toast sticks were not fully cooked, and I got the wrong breakfast sandwich. Super annoying considering I went out of my way to come to that location. And it takes 20 minutes just to get there. Then to get home and my food is wrong and I don’t even want to eat it after spending my $$$ on it. Idk guess I’ll try the one closer to my house.

Every time I’ve gotten food from here the food is cold and stale. in a time where the price of everything is going up and people are eating out less this is not the time to deliver bad quality food. people will just go somewhere else and you will continue to lose customers. personally I have given this place more chances than I should have because it used to be great but I will not be back.

Slowest wendys in the Midwest, could have waited until spring, planted my own lettuce and tomatoes and then whittled a spear and killed a cow to make my own burger in the time it took them to just answer the drive through speaker

Worst Wendy’s ever. They only take one order at a time. How do you not have employees that can take more than 1 person at a time. It’s called fast food. The only reason I keep coming here is because my kid likes it. Don’t go here unless you want to sit at the ordering box for 15 minutes before they even take your order

The Jr. Burger was almost bigger than a silver dollar, barely noticeable under the lettuce and bun. I took the bottom of the bun off and folded the top only to notice the meat was already gone.

Never gets orders right! My family gets the same thing every time an either it’s wrong or not complete the last 4 or 5 times and hoping the next time they’ll do better. By the time we get our food, it’s cold! Wouldn’t recommend ordering from this one at all.

I visited on 07/28 around 1:50 am. I was getting off from my second job and didn’t feel like cooking, seen Wendy’s was still open unaware they ran this late into the night. Sat in line for quite a while, was upset snd annoyed at first but I’m understanding, it’s late and I didn’t honestly have high hopes in anything as I haven’t visited here in a while due to previous poor experiences. It’s been maybe over a year since I’ve came. The food was however excellent. Freshly made, flavorful, not a single dry unsalted or missing item. The young woman who took my order I didn’t see a name tag sadly, was very soft spoken and polite her mannerism was truly appreciated. This place may have gotten things back in order a bit I am not sure but I know one thing, this was a great and very appreciative visit! 100% worth my money and time. Time to go to bed, I’m full
