Very cute neighborhood spot. Everyone seemed to know one another as patrons would greet other patrons. Very cool. The food was delicious. The menudo was very flavorful and tasty. House made corn and flour tortillas are included and it is great.

I been coming to these place for years morning time and never had a problem, until recently I went around 6:30pm on a Saturday. To start with the Sopes we ordered were over fried hard as a rock. The lady forgot the tostadas for the seafood. Then I ordered a champurrado and they took for ever, until I got up and I asked for them, she handled me 2 out of 3 and make me wait another extra 12 min for the third one. What a horrible employees you have, no customer service at all. Unfortunately I don’t think I will go back again!

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for two years, and I’m finally taking the time to share our experience. My father treated our family to an early lunch here, and unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing.
My father ordered a dish with sauce (I believe it was a burrito or similar entree), and it was inedibly spicy—to the point where even he, who typically enjoys spicy food, couldn’t take more than a taste.
When we brought this to the attention of the staff at the front—I believe it was the owner, a woman—we were met with complete indifference. She simply stated “that’s how we make it” without offering to taste the dish or address our concern in any way. When I explained that the dish was truly inedible and politely requested either a substitute or to have it removed from our bill since we couldn’t eat it, they refused both options.
As a small business owner myself, I was shocked by this treatment. It was disheartening to witness, and even more so to see my father uncomfortable as I expressed my frustration with the service. We will not be returning, and I would caution others about the lack of customer care here.

Food is good. They are just Hella slow ! Girl in the front easily distracted not bother by the huge line .I usually Call ahead for my orders and I still manage to wait up to 15 mins for my food . Not the first time either .

I have been driving by here for years and finally decided to stop in for lunch. Wow what have I been missing.
Although it wasn’t very busy inside the restaurant, the lunch pick up orders were out of control. During the time I was eating the flow of people didn’t stop and after tasting the food I completely understand.
I ordered Camarones a la diabla, which is my go to plate when trying new places and I was very pleased with it. The shrimp were good size and had the tails already removed, the sauce was spicy but not over bearing for my taste and the beans and rice were flavorful.
There are a number of other items on the menu that I want to try so I will be back soon.

Ordered a plate of chilaquiles with bistec to go and when I get home I open my plate and this is what I get. It’s ridiculous the plate is 15 and that’s all you get never going again and never recommending it ever again!

Was great food and friendly helpful staff. The food is definitely homemade, no cut corners. The food is freshly made after you put in your order. Will definitely come back…their combination burrito was ok. Could have been big for the price you pay. They use a regular size flour tortilla. They don’t pack it like most places where you would get your money’s worth for the same price…

I was recommended by a nice lady , and omg I can’t believe I found a place near me with great Mexican food , the menudo is so yummy, I will be going back every weekend for my menudo . The service was very cordial and nice , the hand made tortillas was a huge surprise to me , definitely recommend this place , can’t wait to try other items on the menu .
