Excellent food. I had the oxtail and jerk chicken combo. My mom ordered the red snapper escovitch. It was a bit undercooked. I only informed the staff so that they would know to watch it a little closer moving forward. I didn’t ask for anything. Their chef (I think) insisted on bringing out an entire new plate. Their customer service is superb and everything was delicious. Be warned that the jerk chicken was SPICY ️

The cashier working was sooo lovely and helpful. We dined in and saw her help all guests very warmly. Beef patty was a 10, oxtails were a 10, jerk chicken a 10, plantains a 10. VERY good food for a wonderful price! This is our new spot.

Saw the place on signature dish and had to visit! Everything was fantastic – not pictured Beef patty (must try if they are not sold out and if you like spicy food), and coco bread. The jerk chicken wings were so good, though they didn’t not want to sell me more than 12 on a fed holiday. The other highlight was the oxtail stew. My partner liked the goat curry. The owner Andrene was so warm welcoming. I highly recommend it! Parking was fairly easy during lunch time.

FOOD: 5/5. Ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage, a side of plantains and a side of collard greens. Everything was delicious and plenty of food. Jerk sauce was pleasantly spicy.
SERVICE: 5/5. Andrene was super friendly and polite and the food came out quick and hot.
ATMOSPHERE: 5/5. Inside was clean and nicely decorated. Street parking is available but you may have to park a bit away from the restaurant but it’s to be expected for the location.

I was on a work trip with a couple of coworkers and we decided to head over to Andrene’s for dinner. Something told me this was going to be good from previous reviews. I ordered the oxtail and goat combo, rice & peas and cabbage, coco bread and a beef patty. Wow! Oxtail and goat fell off the bone. Rice and peas could not have been better. But the cabbage, I think that was my favorite. The texture was at the point where it just finished cooking and yet had a slight crispness to it, not overcooked where it can get mushy. Portions were plentiful. Service with a smile is always nice too! They had slices of cake for dessert but there was no way I could have even attempted it.

Came here for lunch after my wife and I attended a workshop. Since we’re not from the area this place was the right choice. We ordered a (sm)curry chicken and a (sm) jerk chicken. Food was so good, especially with the redbean rice and cabbage and then topped with the plantains. Portions were great even for a small size. Cashier was very friendly and greeted us and everyone else that came in. All the flavors were blended very well and sat happily. Not finger licking good, bone sucking, platter emptying good. Wife and I left very happy. Just wish there was one at home.

Food was amazing! Fall of the bone oxtail, cheesy macaroni pie, cooked to perfect patties and the drink options were the best pairings. Upon entering you feel a vibe very reminiscent of the caribbean, good music, and even better customer service. My husband & I enjoyed our food and service so much.

Delicious curry goat, jerk wings and brown stew chicken. Ordered takeout and it was ready and hot in a flash. The owner was lovely and it’s wonderful to support a restaurant that has been in the community for two decades. We will definitely be back!
