Had the spring rolls and Pho Ga. My Vietnamese friend said that the broth was average and had too much MSG. Both were good in my opinion.

Wasn’t bad, just not as I expected. Would definitely come back to try new items though but I wasn’t sure if it was really fully vietnamese traditional food but not a huge problem for me! Portion sizes was good.

The food wasn’t bad, it just seemed like it wasn’t really Vietnamese, it felt more American Chinese. The Lu Lac beef was pretty good, there was just a lot of onion, and not enough rice. I also thought the restaurant had a weird aroma, I would tend to think restaurants should smell like food.

The restaurant is clean and quiet. The food is good, but not worthy of 5 stars. I ordered spring rolls & G1, and requested an egg with G1. They forgot the egg, brought it out after my food arrived, and charged me $3 for it.

Reasonable price and delicious food. My favorite dishes from this place are crispy beef, roast quails, fish pot, soft egg noodles with shrimp, chicken, & beef, Chinese broccoli with garlic sauce. My son loves the roast pork summer rolls. If you order carry out over the phone, make sure you tell them the dish code because they often make a mistake with my orders.

Lunch prices are very good with large portions. I wasn’t super impressed with the service or the time that it took for our food to come to the table and especially with the time it too for them to bring our checks. Everyone seemed pleased with the flavor and quality of our meals though. There was no wait to be seated on a weekday at lunchtime. Parking was fine, it’s located inside of a shopping center.

Today 12/27/2025 we are regulars to pho dat thanh. Hint of a great place they have new interior look with menus to match. Very classy. The grilled pork again tender and super good marinade. Such a friendly place. Thank you for keeping a great place continue such quality meals

For Vietnamese in columbia, Md. this is the place. My meal was H1, the grilled pork with roll. The quality of food stand out exceptionally, super clean tables and environment, and service of all staff is quite good and friendly. Oh and the portions are enough for two. This is a hidden gem!

I’m giving this place a 4 star b/c even though I was confused about the flavors, they were good. The alcoholic drinks were WAYYYY too strong & we couldn’t drink them. The sesame chicken & rice was delicious & the customer service was outstanding I’m trying new foods & this was the 2nd week of my adventures in food.

Best Pho in our area. We go many times and we are very pleased every time we go to enjoy a Pho. The broth is good, but is better if you put in it some of the sauce they have on the tables to add more flavor. When you get there they find you a table pretty fast, serve you water right away and take the order very fast too even when they are busy. Is very affordable for the portions they serve. The Tai Iced Tea is a must have, spring rolls too.
