We visited Bangkok Bay on a Tuesday evening and were surprised at how busy it was! While we had a reservation, we had to wait a bit for them to get the table ready for a party of 8. It’s a small space so you’ll be pretty close to the other tables and it’s moderately noisy. Though, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and took our orders very quickly! I’d recommend the Thai tea, it’s a pretty big glass for the price and tastes very fresh and strong! We also got the appetizer boat sampler, and loved the chicken satay and puff pastries. For a big group, we ordered the large Tom Kha soup, 2 curries and drunken noodles, which was more than enough— we chose spice level 2, which is good if you’re not accustomed to super spicy food but want a slight kick! Since they didn’t have mangoes, we couldn’t try the mango sticky rice, but would return for the quality of food!

I was seated and served very quickly the restaurant is pretty small and almost full. My food was delicious and the menu was fairly priced. I would come again!
I don’t typically leave reviews but after what I witnessed, I wanted to make sure there was a positive review from tonight because I’m sure there will be a video posted by the person/people described below.
There was couple with their young child (maybe 1-1.5 year old) seated near the front of the restaurant when I arrived. The child visible (and audibly) upset and the male exited the restaurant with the child, later returning with a calm child. All of a sudden there was a large crash of plates and glasses from their family’s table. One of the adults purposely and forcefully emptied the table of all dishes/glassware and began yelling at the wait staff. I was so shocked that this was happening the only thing i remember being said was from the wait staff “why are you doing this/you can’t do that” and the woman “my baby is hungry.” The male proceeded to knock dishes from the staff hands and behave aggressively towards the staff until multiple male customers got up to protect the staff and diffuse the situation. The couple ultimately left and the woman was video taping once she was outside and the staff threatened to call the police.
The staff of Bangkok Bay was nothing but pleasant and helpful. They quickly cleaned up broken plates and glasses and seated the multiple parties who were waiting to enjoy a delicious meal. They also thanked the men who stood up for them.
To the people who ruined the dining experience for the rest of us, shame on you. I hope you see this review and reflect on the foolish and dangerous behavior you displayed in public, in front of your child.

Good food, typical of this type of Thai restaurant. The pad thai and drunken noodles were reliably good, meaning they didn’t have a special flair but they were flavorful and well prepared. We will go back when we’re in the area.

A reservation is a must at this restaurant unless you don’t mind waiting… my mistake that I should of tried calling to ask (apparently they do take reservations over the phone). My friend and I arrived at 6:30 on a Friday. The wait was a good 30 minutes. The restaurant is very small and tables are close together filled with customers and busy servers. The decor is all tastefully done.
We ordered a couple cocktails while looking over the menu. We chose the Bay Puffs, Small Tom Kha, Pad Thai w/Shrimp, Massaman Beef and the Crispy Chicken. Service is fast and the food and drinks arrive fast. The Puffs were good. The soup, pad thai and beef were excellent with the heat we requested. The chicken was the weakest, bland. All in all a very good meal and we would definitely be back.
Atmosphere: small, busy, nice decor. Service: very good. Food: very good.

Limited seating and we were lucky to get a spot without a reservation! It’s definitely worth the wait if you can’t get in right away! Huge portions and friendly service. Food is fantastic and you’ll want to come back to try more! Highly recommend! Chicken pad Thai and Thai tea pictured.

We ordered a pick up order for kids and adults and the food please everyone. Our repeated order includes Green and Red curries, Rice noodles, and seafood, and it is always consistency in taste. The food includes fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors, especially for their Pad Thai and green curry.
This place have great vibe, as I mentioned above the entrance is surrounded by lush greenery and tropical plants

Made a 7:30 PM reservation for 10 guests. Arrived at 7:30 and seated at 8 PM in a room tucked away with no AC – just fans (August) – so it started out quite warm. We all ordered hot dishes, and by the end of the meal, it was way too warm to finish eating or enjoy the atmosphere.
Ordered a variety of dishes, and everyone loved their meals!
