People and other booths said hello, smiled when they walked by and brought their children extended family. The food was amazing. The waitress would engage as much as little as desired. She worked there for a long time I learned, other members of the owners family extended family work there even the younger members were plate runners or assisted in the cleanup, which, by the way, I must say the table the floors, every surface was noticeably, shiny clean.
Growing up, I worked at times in my uncle’s family restaurants in New York City, which was a completely different experience and level of busyness but if you know anything about New York, do you know how particular customers are terms their cleanliness expectations!
One thing I learned which I rarely see these days is weight staff paying attention to exactly where their hands are when they are plating a food to the table or are providing utensils onto the table. Too often fingers come into contact with the eating service of the knife, spoon, and fork. I’ve been very noticeable about this again having been brought up very strict ways of handling.
Anyhow, overall, this place was amazing. You feel it as soon as you walk in and they’re very reasonably priced not the cheapest but the most value we went home with extras as the portions were quite large. I can’t recommend this place enough. This is exactly what a family restaurant should be!
Chicken Parm was quite good. The chicken was excellent, very flavorful and juicy. The cheese was good, but the tomato sauce lacked flavor. The cheese ravioli that accompanied it was surprisingly ordinary. Generally good but not outstanding.
This is easily one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Rhode Island so far. The crust? Perfectly crisp yet airy. The sauce? Bold and flavorful. The pepperoni? Charred just right. You can tell every ingredient is fresh and intentionally chosen.
Even better than the pizza was the atmosphere—welcoming, warm, and full of pride. Huge thanks to Thomas and Dave for the invite and hospitality.
If you haven’t made your way to Nino’s yet, go ahead and put that at the top of your to-do list.
This place is a slice above the rest!

If you’ve had pizza from anywhere else other than here , I’m sorry but it was not real pizza – the pizza here is truly life changing- but also very hot so be careful when eating – some sauce hit my wrist and burned it
But it was worth it – the service here is the best – beautiful indoor seating- spacious
Note :They gave me ice for the burn very sweet
