I’ve driven past this place a million times, and finally decided to stop, and it’s a new favorite spot.
Kelly, the owner and cook made us some phenomenal, picture perfect burgers. The bartender and other customers were friendly, the menu was pretty impressive and had a great variety of burgers.

Three of us went for dinner and one bartender had no clue how to make a old fashioned. One of the most popular drinks ever. Secondly, we were playing music on the TouchTunes and the other bartender skipped our songs that she didn’t like. That was our money that she waisted. Good way to piss of a new customer that will never come back again.

Bucksnort never disappoints. No frills local bar with good bar food, decent beer, and a great staff. Always a treat to stop in when I’m in Mesick. Ruben egg rolls and the wings are excellent! Oberon on draft plus a great selection of local craft, American staples, and wine and seltzers.

The rundown bar was fine, the food not great but okay. Onion rings were quite good. But the problem was service. The staff skipped our songs on the TouchTunes if she didn’t like them and had to be sought out for refills of our drinks. They basically gave us our first drinks, took our order, delivered it and then never spoke to us again. We had to even ask for our bill, which given our drinks and food was gone and we were just sitting there, seemed obvious. Very disappointed as our previous experience was lovely (the gal with the tattoos is spectacular).

We were thrilled when this place reopened! Still looks the same (minus a few dollar bills). Very small menu but the burgers were really good as was the potato salad. Beers were ice cold and the staff were super friendly from the moment we walked in. It’s the best little hidden gem and a beautiful ride to get there!

While the food was amazing the attitudes from the wait staff need some major improvements. I had picked 5 songs to play on TouchTunes 3 which were skipped my one of the bar tenders. I also had to go get our waitress to get another drink. Very disappointed with the service and the lack of customer service we didn’t receive.

We really appreciate y’all making us leave due to having fun. It allowed us to wander down the street and find the Trailside Tavern. The Trailside Tavern is seriously amazing!!! Food is excellent! And the staff is very professional.

This place is a classic northern bar. Set in an old building that gives it a somewhat hole in the wall atmosphere, but in the best way possible. The service was wonderful, and the burger was amazing. If you are looking for good local food this is a great place to stop.

The atmosphere was quite interesting. Including a Harley in a case. And it had pool tables and other entertainment features.
We liked the selection of comfort foods on the menu. We had the grizzly Burger, the French dip, and the house salad.We also had an order of the portabella mushrooms.
The grizly Burger was interesting. It had roast beef on top of it. And it was a 3rd pound of ground beef. Tasted pretty good. The au jus for the French dip wasn’t salty or tangy at all so it was more meh. The salad was a nice portion and the croutons were not rock hard and were flavorful..However the portabella mushrooms were overdone. But in their defense,. There was a medical emergency and it pulled everyone away to help the lady that was struggling.
Everyone was so friendly and it was generally a great atmosphere!
