The food is DEVINE! I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo and a Caesar salad. Both were fantastic and fresh. My niece ordered the penne à la vodka and loved it. My nephew had their pepperoni pizza and swears it’s the best pizza in NSB. We were so full that we took dessert to go. I took home their pistachio cake and it is heaven on earth. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Italian spot.

Great food and atmosphere. Came because I was craving scampi, and that actually ended up being our least favorite thing lol. Prosciutto salad, lunch pizza slice, eggplant rollatini, and carrot soup were great. Finished with 2 yummy cappuccinos that were not bitter, for once!
Skip the scampi!

The Anti-pasto was well done. Cute place in a shopping center. I hate not 5 star places doing their best. Nothing memorable but a good restaurant doing their best. Oh one memorable thing one Italian girl doing everything while 4 or 5 others just kinda stood around and watched.

I have just eaten the worst pizza in my entire existence. I ordered something simple as a margarita pizza, I received a lot of sauce with mozzarella cheese was not including basil, olive oil. I ordered through uber eats and received a cold pie. The restaurant was not updating status for the pizza to the driver. I wish I would’ve picked another pizza place but after reviewing the reviews and pictures I am still surprised and disappointed with what I received. Do your self a favor and go and dine in or order from somewhere else.

Delicious food, WONDERFUL SERVICE. I can’t remember her name, but she was cute as a button with long hair pulled back and on the slight side of weight. Great personality, VERY accommodating. Just went with us in celebrating. Very attentive with good humor! The only suggestion I have would be to dim the lights just a tad. Love you, Vesuvios. Coming back often.

You won’t find better service or larger portions for your money in town. The owners are very friendly and genuinely care about every meal served. We had them cater for us with meat trays, pizza, and turamisue dessert and our friends were highly impressed. Whether you’re single, just want friendly service at the bar, or part of a big group, go see them. I highly recommend everything they offer.

My wife and I took my parents out for Valentine’s dinner and choosing a restaurant was proving difficult due to reservations filling up fast. I found Caffe Vesuvio out of sheer luck. I’m glad they had one reservation left.
First, the staff was extremely friendly, professional and very polite. The atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was very clean too. The food took about 20 minutes to come out which wasn’t bad considering the restaurant was full.
I liked that they had a smaller wine list, it was easier to pick a bottle. We enjoyed our Caprese and Buratta Con Prosciutto appetizers, absolutely delicious! The carbonara, bolognese, and the manicotti were incredibly good, even the table bread was great. It was refreshing to know that everything was made from scratch.
Lastly, the desserts were very tasty as well. The pistachio affogato was creamy and rich but not overly sweet while the espresso complimented the gelato; the espresso was not bitter and had a smooth taste. The strawberry shortcake cheesecake had a silky and creamy texture. Not overly sweet either.
Overall, I would recommend to anyone looking to have a wonderful and delicious Italian meal to try Caffe Vesuvio, we will definitely be going back!

Café Vesuvio clearly has a strong reputation—my extended family absolutely raves about it—and I can see why many people enjoy it. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal.
From a food perspective, though, I personally found most dishes to be good but not outstanding, especially through the lens of my wife, who comes from a multi-generation Italian family.
• Chicken piccata was good, but a bit underwhelming—very few capers, and the white wine sauce tasted thinner and more diluted than the richer, tangy sauce I was expecting.
• Spaghetti and meatballs: the meatballs themselves were solid, but the sauce felt more like straight tomato paste than a deeply developed, seasoned marinara.
• Pasta was cooked very well—firm, not mushy, not overcooked. That part was done right.
• Cheesy garlic knots were fine, but nothing memorable.
Overall, everything was okay, and the service really stood out in a positive way. While nothing we ordered rose to the level of “excellent” food-wise for us, I can still appreciate why this place is well loved, especially if you’re looking for a comfortable atmosphere and great

My local go-to place for excellent pizza. Also great authentic Italian dishes with decent portion sizes. Service is good and food served hot. Paulo (owner) is great and accommodating. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
