I came to Kinjo Sushi & Grill for Iftar during Ramadan and had such a wonderful experience. We only waited about 5 minutes for our table, and the staff kindly rushed it for us, which we really appreciated.
Michael was our server, and he was incredibly kind and generous throughout the evening. His service truly stood out and made our visit even more special. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that all of our drinks were taken care of on the bill 🙂 such a thoughtful touch!
Excellent service and a great experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!
PS. A little disappointed to hear that the veggie tomato ramen will be discontinued. It was definitely one of my favourites, and having at least one non-pork ramen option is especially appreciated during Ramadan and for guests who don’t eat pork for dietary or religious reasons. I hope it might be reconsidered in the future.

We really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious and the value for money is excellent. We tried the Deluxe Red Ramen, Deluxe Black Ramen, Tataki Beef, and the BBQ Chicken; everything was tasty and well presented.
The service was also outstanding.

Kinjo northill is amazing! The service is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Almost all of the staff were like David and the guy with eye glasses in take out. But overall, all of them.

They might be busy every fridays and saturdays, but these guys are absolutely patient and still smiling to their guest. Even when it’s very busy, the servers remain patient, calm, and professional. They work so hard to make sure everyone is taken care of, so please remember to be patient and respectful in return.

I did the order for st.Valentine’s day, for this paid 75$, taste of sushi was ok, BUT the soy sauce and ginger tasted like mold! I threw them out immediately. Overall, the order looked terrible! I wanted to make a festive dinner for the holiday, but the appearance of the order and the moldy taste completely ruined the mood! It did NOT costed 75 cad!

Absolutely amazing experience at Kinjo on 16th! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi rolls were a perfect balance of texture and taste, especially the tempura shrimp roll with mango sauce—sweet, savory, and crunchy in all the right ways. The seared scallops were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, perfectly seasoned, and topped with creamy sauce. The beef stir-fry with veggies was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of spice.

Kinjo is now a favourite for us.
The beef sushi rolls, lamb chops, spicy miso ramen and black deluxe ramen are our go to meals.
Didn’t have time to take the BEFORE but you can see from the AFTER that we totally enjoyed this.

Great place to go for Japanese cuisine. The place is usually quite busy and has a good menu for sushi, udon, salads, fried chicken. Service is great and prices are very reasonable.

The food is amazing, as expected with high quality Japanese/East Asian cuisine. Has a variety of dishes that you would expect to find in such a setting. Food comes FAST, at blazing speeds where it’s unreal, I would at least expect 10 minutes longer for the food to be handed out.
SERVICE: 4/5
Service is overall great, it can be hit or miss as with previous experiences of other restaurants. Still new to Kinjo Sushi and Grill but the first impression; impressive haha. Sorry for the jokes lol but the service is truly great at Kinjo North Hill, servers are welcoming and are happily ready to provide you what you should require.

It is a small restaurant since it is right beside North Hill Mall, but the design, the drawings and arts on the walls, with the classic Japanese cherry blossom trees inside make an excellent atmosphere. 3/5 rating but ONLY because it is a miniature restaurant.
