We were excited to take the scenic drive from Rochester to check out Roy’s Saloon—and it did not disappoint! On just their second day open, the food and service were already top-notch. I had the jalapeño smash burger and it was absolutely delicious—definitely something I’ll be coming back for. The Bloody Mary was a solid 10 out of 10, perfectly made and full of flavor.
Jim and the service staff were great—friendly, attentive, and really added to the experience. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

This was a great first visit for our family! The restaurant is newly remodeled and was very clean. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic! The pulled pork on ciabatta is delicious and we also highly recommend the Crispy Chicken sandwich! Great tomato bisque soup and awesome kids menu too! Our kids enjoyed the grilled cheese and pizza. Everything was cooked well and tasted very fresh. Bonus for the kids, there is a little play park right behind the restaurant! We will definitely visit again soon.

We were out for an adult road trip for Sunday Fun day. We heard about Roy’s Saloon and wanted to try it out. The outside has a unique rustic look and inside is completely updated and beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Texas Tornado smash burger. I was worried the jalapeño cream cheese would be too spicy for me but it wasn’t. It was just the right amount of spice! We had a great waitress Amanda! She was so bubbly and welcoming! Thank you Amanda for having fun with us! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants to enjoy a little road trip!

We read about it on Facebook from a friend of mine. The whole package was wonderful. The building is done so well and the staff were so friendly. As far as the food, it was all excellent. Make sure you take a beautiful drive and enjoy a wonderful experience.

We recently tried Roy’s with my in-laws for Father’s Day lunch. It was a beautiful drive in the countryside and rolling wooded hills to get to Roy’s which added to the great experience once we got there. We were greeted warmly and with perceived appreciation. The ambiance was very warm, clean and comfortable. We shared onion rings and cheese curds which were both some of the best fried appetizers I have had in a long time. The ladies split a mushroom Swiss burger, my father-in-law had the bourbon chicken tenders, and I had a BLT. ALL the food was top shelf and we left quite full. The tab was very reasonable for what we ordered and the portions were huge!! GREAT VALUE!! Go for a drive in the countryside and treat yourself to Roy’s!!

Oh please take this drive! What a great story of kindness and community behind this hidden gem (I’m not going to spoil the story, go, go, go hear it yourself if your not from the area!) Welcoming, yes, yes, yes! Fabulous homeade food, yes! Real cocktails mixed, shaken and, yes, poured from over the bartenders head! This was NOT her first rodeo and we loved every second of be being there. Finds like this in our beautiful neck of the woods are few and far between! I can’t wait to go back for dinner, nom nom!!
