First time tried. Drove 15 minutes to pick up. They did not include breadsticks that i should have gotten with my order.
Fried chicken pieces are skimpy. Ribs are rubbery and generic flavor. Broasted potatoes are not worth the 5 bucks, I wouldn’t eat them for free. The mostacioli is too sweet and really watery.
Only plusses: the salad was fresh and crisp and the fried chicken was good flavor.
Just awful experience overall.

I have always loved Gus’/Alekos. That is not the case after the last visit. There were barely any toppings, that I paid for “by the topping” and they didn’t even add one of the toppings but it was only $1 so I let it go. I asked for extra sauce, didn’t get it, and the toppings on my salad were scarce as well. I’m guessing it was the employee not the business at fault. We all know how hard it is to get good help these days!

My wife order a side of mostaccioli some bread sticks and a 12oz pop from here on door dash..this review is for this restaurant not door dash… I looked at the food that was delivered and was instantly turned off and pissed… mostaccioli is supposed to have meat and cheese..this was literally just sauce thrown in the bottom of a container and then noodles thrown on top and kinda tossed together…the bag was not sealed like it’s supposed to be when it comes thru door dash..also didn’t have a receipt attached to it like it’s supposed to….so completely turned off of this restaurant now and will never come back…

I ordered an Italian sandwich. I asked what meat was on the sandwich. I was told salami, pepperoni, and ham in addition to lettuce, tomato onion, mild peppers and olives. I ordered the sandwich minus onion and olives. I get home to find a sandwich only with ham. And thick nasty ham at that

Service was great but the food was just ok. The person working the counter took time to explain everything and was very nice.
The fried chicken was just alright though, pretty standard. The breast meat was a bit dry. The wedges need salt/pepper/some kind of seasoning and the mac and cheese was pretty bland with just a straight out of the can liquid American cheese/cheese whiz flavor. The breadsticks were pretty good with the garlic cream cheese dip and the ranch dressing was on point. Salads in the case looked good but didn’t try one.

We ordered the Celebration Special for my Great Grandson’s 1st Birthday. Our whole experience from the lady that took my order, to the owner following up with me regarding delivery, to the courteous and on time delivery person was exceptional. We had approximately 50 people and many asked where we got the food from. It was sooo good. We will definitely order from Gus’s in New Hudson again!!!

Gus’s is my absolute favorite place in town!!! Anytime I have guests coming into town, whether at work or at home, Gus’s is the place to go! Fast and amazingly delicious, the breadsticks are to DIE FOR!! The staff is so wonderfully kind and helpful! I dropped a container of chicken and they were so sweet, helping me clean it up and even replacing it ❤️ I couldn’t ask for better service!

Ordered pepperoni, got home to this. If they delivered I would demand a replacement because my family isn’t going to eat half this pizza since the sausage is impossible to pick off but not worth the drive back up. Guess I’ll just keep eating local if the 30min round trip is going to result in this.

God bless you people Gus is carry out is the greatest of the greatest so happy we have one down the street now From Feldman Chevrolet. Get you a bag of bread and some garlic cream cheese dip you won’t regret it. The ribs are also awesome. Well done.
